Nothing ground breaking but bumped into Lennon today and had a quick 5 min chat. Asked how he's getting on. He said he really likes Poch but he doesn't play any senior players and prefers to select kids.
Asked if he's staying. He said he'll speak with Poch. If he's not going to be playing then he's definitely off.
Lastly I told him I rate him more than Townsend and would sell him first! He laughed and said "nah Andros is alrite man".
Edit:
I left him to carry on watching the tennis from the screens in Canary Wharf. Apparently he now lives there! Not ideal if you're driving to the training ground every day!

Did he mention anything about cabbages?

Some of you have way too much time on your hands. :)

I already make a small monthly donation, but I'll donate another £100 if everyone stops talking about fucking cabbages.

not much tonight

jasper on ms/scweinsteiger: Serve MS right!
It is on good authority, fees aside we thought we had him. But who really knows what is going on in some people's head. We have a deadline. Anything and everything happens in football so you never know which my own opinion.

also Ojay on coys on the(silly) pritchard to lazio story: I know his agent very well and know for a fact he is going nowhere *

*im only posting this because ojay had some decent info in the past and has never been considered itk afaik, but now we know he has a source

What's the news on schneiderlin? Missed that due to being very pissed?

By the way, drunken contribution to coffers on the way!

Utd is signing Schweinsteiger, apparently. Supposedly, it effectively ends their run at Schneiderlin.

Stobart is suggesting Utd will still go on for schneiderlin so don't get your hopes up yet.

It's all in the player thread.

Can't tell if Jasper ITK is about this window or last...

It's about this one. He was sure we would sign him a few weeks ago.

Seems like most of the stuff coming out of United for a few weeks now has been that United want to sign Schweinsteiger as a shorter term solution AND Schneiderlin, who would be a longer term solution.

Schneiderlin isn't some 20yr old, he's 25 and likely won't have any adaption problems if he moved up Norf, Schweinsteiger the 'short-term' option would likely take a year to settle in making Schneiderlin the better option altogether.

I swear Utd have two separate goals in the window.

1. Sign players to improve the team
2. Sign big names to prove they are still relevant.
