+++ 17:45 clock: Confusion about Leverkusen's Son +++
Because today is a lot on offer in Leverkusen. And on the day of the fateful CL playoff second leg against Lazio (live on Sky from 20:15) .After latest information from SSNHD indicated now but probably everything on an exchange of South Korean Heung-Min Son to Tottenham Hotspur back.

The 23-year-old should have already stored the medical check in London. As a transfer fee is 30 million euros in conversation. 2013 Son had come for ten million from HSV to "Werkself".

---------------------

Seems like it is €30m then
Won't be €30m up front IMO. If it is then we won't be getting Berahino.

Easy.

Berahino still up in the air and DM far from sorted.
Hence the 'if'.

You know what, I'd still call it a bloody good window if we got the two attacking players.

There seems to be no midfield options out there of the required standard... So not sure what we are meant to do short of magicking one out of our arseholes... FWIW there were several early in the window but we slept on them.

Just waiting for @Bus-Conductor to walk in, say he's seen him once and declare him as a poor man's Lennon who will never improve.

Poor man's JS Park surely given that Berahino and Defoe being the same race seemed to be one of the big connections.

Do we know if he's defo not in BL's squad this evening - this place will go nuclear should he turn up running around a football pitch at 8pm tonight.

I like Son but i also think he is a little overrated, kind of player who makes a great showreel but can also go missing a lot. Im not really sure he would be the answer to our problems but saying that, he is obviously a good player and would be happy if we bought him.

Sounds perfect. We've needed a MOTD Bentley replacement for ages now

lol

May be true, but there's more than a chance it isn't.

SSN - Willian signs for Spurs
SSN - Moutino signs for Spurs
SSN - Sky "sources" underfuckingstand

Official SIte = believe, until then salt baby, pass the salt.
Would you like the table salt, the Maldon Sea Salt or the smoked Maldon Sea Salt? I've got them all ready.

This is a pretty exciting one though tbf

Yes, true.

It would be a good window, but certainly nothing fantastic without the DM for me.

£18m sounds pretty darn good, especially if we can sell Lamela for 20M Euro.

In fact I'd love to see Berahino and Son in and Lamela (and possibly Townsend) out. Would sort our pacey WF needs and provide backup for Harry.

One things for sure we will have injected plenty of pace into the side if we get him as well as with N'Jie.

Sky Sports are still referring to him as a striker, which isn't true.

They are saying the deal could be worth 'up to' £18m.

You know that moment when you start chatting to someone in the pub, who's younger than you, and they start rambling on about this band or that, like they're so well-known they might as well be the Beatles, and you don't have the first bloody clue who they are, but you nod along so as not to look like a complete cave-dweller? This is how I feel right now. How do so many people here have enough time to follow German football? Or is all this excitement mainly based on Football Manager and Fifa? Alternatively, I'm just a complete pleb.

Lol... Apparently a Bayer representative was asked this question and gave the answer that this topic (son transfer) was not on their agenda before such an important game. Hmmm, this not on the agenda stuff has a familiar ring...

Also, HSV (Hamburg) are due 10% on any amount above 10m euros, so if it's €30m then HSV get €2m.

He's played mostly as a winger lately but he played a lot as a striker for both Leverkusen and HSV not too long ago.

FIFA 15 (soon to be replaced by FIFA 16) for all your footballing knowledge. It also cures dandruff.

---Berahino----Eriksen---------Son-----

+ Njie, Pritchard, Chadli, Dembele, Andros would look pretty decent. But I would be totally shocked if we pull that one and a good CM out of the hat.

Gotta admire the speed in which we moved on from Berahino and got the Son move going, especially as he's not the typical back-up plan we accuse Levy of going after when a main target falls through.
