Didn't someone come up with a very feasible answer to the cabbage cryptic which involved son?

Well we had information that we had people in Germany a few weeks ago. We all had our guesses and thought it was tied to Timo Werner or Sven/Lars Bender or Christoph Kramer. But maybe this is what they were working on and it took them a few weeks rather than 2 days to get it all settled? Just my thought.

That's a good point. Surely this is the work of the delegate in Germany?

Well he filled in for Son at the weekend and the fans seem to want him to take Son's place
Interesting, I just meant in terms of the transfer. It was Drmic out, Mehmedi in within a matter of hours so I've always looked at it like that.

With Trix seemingly still fairly confident on Illarramendi and this moving smoothly (so far but we all know it will probably have lots of twists and turns) things look good at the minute. However, I fear this is instead of Berahino and not as well as. I know that he isn't a striker like Saido but he is gonna be £18m+ like him. I personally can't see us spending more than £40m on two players and signing a CM in the next 6 days. I hope I'm wrong but it just seems too good to be real

I believe that Illarramendi has signed with his old club.

First it's "he's on his way there" and then it's "nothing's done but we are negotiating"

What is it then!

What? Who has said that?
Rudi voller on german television. I am watching their coverage before the game and he was asked if son is in London to have a medical at Spurs. And he said that there are talks but nothing's done yet. And that talks have Bern ongoing with us for weeks

Couldn't this be tied in with Lamela moving and the money that'll generate?

I'm scratching my head thinking of any world class footballer, that has ever come from an Asian country.. In general they are not ideally suited to the physical challenge of Premier League..
United had Kagawa who was high profile and failed

Bum-Kun Cha was pretty much up there with the greats. Fergie reckoned he was unstoppable, Matthaus said he was world class & Klinnsman thought himself below the level of Cha. High praise indeed - he'd be a superstar in today's game.
