Wow, here we go if this is true:

@dan_bu: Rudi Völler confirms indirectly that Son is in London for his medical. Says they'll find a solution that suits Leverkusen.

Way to turn this racist guys.

Asia is a massive land mass, so Ali Daei was from Iran, which is in Asia. Alcantara was Barcelona's all time scorer until Messi. He's from the Philippines, which are in Asia. And Bum-kun was so good that Klinsmann said he wasn't even close to Bum-kun's ability.

But don't let that get in your way.

Teehee...Bum-kun

Now they're comparing Berahino and Son's FM stats on Sky Sports.

So many things wrong with that.

I would have to disagree with Koreans not being physical, I would say it's much more reasonable (although still rather a cliched and sweeping assessment) to say that they are in fact some of the fittest and best conditioned players in world football from a stamina/physicality POV. Also, Park has ran big games in Prem and Europe for United and is a legend there, winning a shedload of trophies whilst he was in England

Not wishing to stereotype players, but Koreans also seem to have a fabulous work ethic.

Park Ji-sung was a great player for United. Gave it his all every game, an incredible work horse. Sir Alex often picked him for the biggest games, a real favourite of his.

Exactly. Remember him, Nani and Rooney ripping Arsenal a new one at the Emirates in particular. The energy they showed that day, Park specifically, was insane.

What does indirectly mean?

"So Rudi? I'm going to tell you Son is in London for a medical. If I'm wrong, tell me. If not, I'm going to move on to another question."

We're probably happy enough to let them imply he's instead of Berahino....gets West Brom well nervous if they've no other serious interest in him.

Other are saying he only confirmed that there are negotiations, and nothing has been agreed yet.

I don't really follow Bundesliga and Korean football much. Is Son the best Korean footballer?

For such a high profile transfer this really has moved at an unprecedented pace.

Well we had information that we had people in Germany a few weeks ago. We all had our guesses and thought it was tied to Timo Werner or Sven/Lars Bender or Christoph Kramer. But maybe this is what they were working on and it took them a few weeks rather than 2 days to get it all settled? Just my thought.
