Gotta give credit to Levy, he didn't lie when he said most of the transfer business would happen in the last two weeks. A ton of transfer dealings are slowly being finalised across the league.

I'm very much hoping that the only reason we know anything about this deal is because it's already done. I really wouldn't us to be the victims of another Willian type gazumping again. :nailbiting:

A shame that the suicide squad have been on their periods the last couple of days on here.

His stats are very respectable, particularly considering he achieved these aged only 20-22 and doesn't play as the main striker.

2014/15:
League - 30 games, 11 goals, 2 assists
Cup - 2 games, 1 goals, 0 assists
Champions League - 7 games, 3 goals, 0 assists

2013/14:
League - 31 games, 10 goals, 4 assists
Cup - 4 games, 2 goals, 1 assist
Champions League - 7 games, 1 goals, 2 assists

He scored 3 goals in 5 games in the Asian Cup this year and scored in the 2014 World Cup.

Guardian article says that he had a release clause of €22m that expired in May and now they want €30m. Will be interesting to see what the eventual fee will be if it gets done.

£15.8M plus a couple of performance uplifts gets the deal done I'd guess. Hope he's good.

Really hope we do this. Be interesting to see what the boo-boys/mentally challenged fans make of him though. Always suspected Lee YP got pelters a European (or African for that matter) player wouldn't have...

I haven't seen loads of Son, just the odd Leverkusen game and lots of Bundesliga highlights and the obligatory YT reels. I actually think, based ion the limited amount I've seen he'd be good fit for our system. He's got pace, he can take players on from wide areas and beat them, he scores at the same rate as Berahino (but that includes 4 penalties for Berahino), he creates more, sees more ball, can use both feet, strong, and he seems to work hard off the ball.

I wonder if this means Lamela is on his way

He probably wasn't talking about us just the other teams.
