imagine having Son, Clinton, SB. The pace, movement, dimension, and goal treat will be awesome.

Wow, the thought of this is getting me giggy.

throw kane in there and the players that can interchange in attack is ridiculous.

They don't exactly need the money, wonder why they're so ready to let him go?
They do need money.

"Bad news for Leverkusen - €12 million signing Charles Aranguiz has ruptured his achilles tendon - out for the rest of 2015. (via @Jens1893)"
Can't make this up. They need yet another central MF. They need another CB as their best CB Toprak is out until next year. They need a back up striker to Kissling.

It's quite a coincidence that we are going after a player whose club want £22m the day or so after we reportedly offered the exact same amount for Berahino...

And I don't really believe in coincidence, that's just lack of understanding of patterns IMO.

I haven't seen loads of Son, just the odd Leverkusen game and lots of Bundesliga highlights and the obligatory YT reels. I actually think, based ion the limited amount I've seen he'd be good fit for our system. He's got pace, he can take players on from wide areas and beat them, he scores at the same rate as Berahino (but that includes 4 penalties for Berahino), he creates more, sees more ball, can use both feet, strong, and he seems to work hard off the ball.

I wonder if this means Lamela is on his way

If anything you should be comparing him to Lamela, not Berahino, as Lamela is probably the player going out, and Son and SB play in different positions.

Imagine if we could sign both Son Heung-Min *AND* former reported [by ITKs] target Eduardo Salvio! By the end of the season we could be playing a 3 behind the striker that reads as follows:

Onomah -- Ed -- Son

Crosses and headed goals galore!!

Crowbarred that joke in like a motherfucker: I'm a happy man.

My worry about Son, is that his best position is on the left, just like Chadli and N'jie, his secondary position would be support striker, just like Chadli & N'jie and then the right wing/forward & striker would be third & forth best positions, just like the other two.I think we need to bring someone in who's best position is the right.

From what I've seen he works much harder and smarter without the ball than Chadli, he creates more chances and scores at a similar rate. From what I've seen I think he'd be a really good fit and would give us the offensive output of Chadli but with the added increase in work rate.

Who says left is his best position?

What would you say his best position is ?

N'jie played as part of a front 2 last season, why do people keep saying his best position is lw? I think it's yet to be determined where he'll play mostly for us
It wasn't a traditional front 2. Both he and Lacazette (though he didn't do as often as N'jie) pull off to the wide positions and act more like a wide forwards and N'jie was on the left for 90% of the time.

If anyone else is at work for about another 30 minutes or so, here ya go :)

It's all 49 of his goals, and in fairly good quality as well.

I'd be very happy with either or both, but personally Son would be my choice of the two...if a choice had to be made.

I think Berahino's got a lot more to his game than some of your comments in the past suggest. Both him and Son are quite direct. However I think Son has the edge when it comes to offering more to overall attacking.

I tend to pay more attention to German football because I think it's closer in style (though obviously not identical) to the Prem than any other league. Son has done a great job there and I have little doubt he would adapt well to English football.

I very much want Berahino, but Son is an excellent player. Every time I've watched Leverkusen he stands out to me and I agree I think he's made for the Premier League. I really hope we get both.

Eriksen is pissing me off; he better get a clue.
Agreed. Still a bit naive to put Pritch with only 7 min of PL game time in total ahead of arguably one of the best players in the team. He frustrates the hell out of me at the moment though so I know where you're coming from

this is what makes the TW crazy, we feed on different itk waiting for developments, then suddenly stuff like this drops from nowhere.
