Is no one going to mention that Wimmer, Alderweireld, Trippier, Son, CM, N'Jie, CF would be 7 new signings. 7 is not a good number for us.

But more importantly, what is the bad news we aren't getting? If we're really in for Berahino and/or Witsel, are we actually spending a bit in support of poch, or is there a big outgoing that we aren't aware of?

I'm starting to freak out about Eriksen's "knee."

Don't know why you got a dislike - I'd love to know who thinks that without a striker in this year we can possibly have a good season. It defies logic.

If it hasn't been deleted from the RO I'd assume he's verified.

I was worried when he suddenly had a dodgy knee but with not a hiint of ITK on the matter, I'm sure he's going nowhere.

Going to be a strange day or half day tomorrow. Used to this place exploding during the evening but it will be during the afternoon instead.

After months of the window being open I still have no clue which CMs were targets or not. Aside from Schneiderlin, I've no idea who was on our list or not. Felt like been linked to so many varying types of CM/DM it's hard to fathom what the aim even was. Struggling to see any time for us to sign anything but a stop gap now if anyone at all.

Think we'll go in for Berahino again tonight one last time then tomorrow if it's rejected move onto an attainable target.

I think so. With our speed merchants, if ever Kane is not available and we have no other recognised striker,we can play Son and Nigel on either flank and without a central striker, drawing out the opposition's CB and play balls over their head for our flank players to run onto. Alli will then try to sneak in late in the centre.

So instead of a pressing game, we might have to defend deep and catch them on the break.

It seems a particularly dangerous approach given our acute position of weakness (striker), not so much for the DM.

How about you message the mods directly? Instead of randomly posting it in the thread.

Lyall is just a WUM, even if we aren't in for Witsel he would just be right by coincidence.

there's so much anti Austin talk that it seems rather obvious the ITKs are being Levy-driven to make sure no outside sources pick up on our intended targeting of the man until it's too late for anyone else to get involved.

If Levy sanctions Hugo's sale to United, snd I don't care what price he squeezes out of Woodward, there will be an absolute uproar from the terraces and I reckon he knows he'd be signing his own resignation if he did so.
