Witsel, Wanyama, Martinez

If all links are true all it says to me is we are desperately searching without any real coherent plan.

Sounds like we either pull out a worldie or end up with a dud

Again we've had months to prepare and APPEAR to be scratching around again! ...so frustrating but let's stay positive, time left!

The Goat suggested three, obviously a CF and a DM but does anyone have any idea what the third position is?
Before this thread gets filled with personal preferences……i'll field this one

No

Nobody has a clue.

There, that's nipped that one in the bud :D

If we are enquiring about Martinez we must be really struggling to fill that position and that Witsel and Wanyama are not viable.

Hope I'm wrong though.
We have no idea who we want as DM by the looks of it. Even the itk says there's a long list. Leaving it to the last 12 hours? I hope pochs target is top 8 now not top 4

JJ seemed calm and collected, it appeared that things were on course.

Maybe all these rumours are just click bait agent fuelled crap.

as others have said
edmonton: I don't usually post transfer stuff for probably obvious reasons but as I said a few weeks ago I was told Hugo won't be sold and that is good enough for me.

Who: The Goat
When: 31st August
Where: SC

From a new source, so applicable salt etc etc, but The Goat hears that there is interest in Javi Martinez from Bayern. No details on the outcome, such as wether the enquiry was rejected or otherwise, just that the question was asked.

From a more regular source The Goat hears one last push for Berahino. We're hoping we get up to 3 in but other than Berahino no names were mentioned. Also that it now looks like Adebayor, despite big efforts by the club, is happy to sit around doing nothing although something very late on hasn't been completely ruled out.

Quelle surprise...

I hope our player contracts have the 'your job description is this, that and the other, plus any other task requested of you by The Company' clause in it and we can get him doing the dishes in the training ground canteen and fishing the empty miniatures out of the bogs at half time for the last year of his £110k per week theft.

Worrying when your main concern is being stuck with Lamela, Christ
I didn't say it was my main concern at all. There is no doubt about what that is, the one striker catastrophe, I just realised that the French deadline had passed and threw it in as an afterthought!

Ok there may come a point for panicking but its not yet, as things stand we are still pushing for 2 long term targets.

What happens if we don't get our targets (SB in particular)?

That's what bothering me.

Tbh I don't get why anyone is crying about Adebayor and his actions?

He is looking after his own, as annoying as it is we gave him the contract.

At the end of the day not every player treats football as some passion or hobby... To some as hard to believe as it is, it's simply a job.

If we aren't willing to subsidize his wages whilst he is on loan, why expect him to take a sizable pay cut to play for a mid table side like West Ham?

He can easily wait a year and still pick up a big fuck off contract from the Middle East or somewhere.

Sure it'd be nice to get him off the bill but I don't get the surprise at his decision...

You're basically expecting someone to take a pay cut to actually do some work?

How many would do that in real life?
