No matter what happened last night people will look for the negative interpretation lol.

If Arsenal had won 1-0 last night but had to work hard for it, the same people claiming they're hurting now making them more dangerous would be talking about how much confidence that would of given them by beating one of the best sides in the world making the NLD an even tougher affair.

I always think Arsenal, when they get on a run, can be hard to play against. But when they suffer a set back it can knock their fragile confidence.

That's just me though. Might not have any bearing for Sunday - its a derby after all.
I'm not so sure on that, It's usually a set back that sparks a great run, like losing to us to put them 12 points behind, when they went on to win 9 of their next 11 games (including beating Bayern) or when they lost 4-0 to Milan and then won 8 of their next 9 games including beating Milan 3-0 in the second leg.

missed this game last year, was stuck in a hospital bed, nodded off when all set to watch it on sky go

this fixture turns my stomach, I hate Arscum so much, and after playing 2 games in 2nd gear this week, really hoping that we can find 6th gear and beat these ****s.

the ref for the match is Martin Atkinson, he was the ref in our home game v them last season, hopefully we can grab the same result

But they are !

If we stick to a good game plan and manage to keep them at bay for say 70 minutes, we will have a fair chance to win the game in the last 20 of playing time. Poch will also have a better bench than Arsene to turn to and that may well be the time to nick it.
They will be missing 3 players (Walcott, Ramsey & Bellerin) from the team that beat Man Utd 3-0.

My heart bleeds for them.

Chamberlain is out and Koscielny is highly doubted. They are deteriorating while we are growing in strength. Also, their injuries are right-sided and defensive. Most of our attacking movement is on our left-side facing their right.

For anyone to believe they are going to thrash us... They must know something I don't.

I would argue that our injuries are in our AMs, especially out left side (Chadli, Son, Pritchard, Njie), so it balances their out well. Add to that, we only have 1 out & out striker and he apparently looked knackered at the end of the Anderlecht game. They still have Ozil & Sanchez, their two best attacking players fit and Coquelin & Carzola who are/should be their first choice CM pairing. Giroud should be their main striker IMO, so it's just their AMR & RB that won't be first choice.

Unfortunately it looks like Koscielny will be back.

Reminds me of an old Facebook status of mine.

"Coming back to 3-4 from 0-4 down against a Milan team aint too shabby. One team did that last year though. Away from home. Against the holders. With ten men. In one half.

Forever in our shadows..."

Big prediction
« on: November 4, 2015, 01:59:39 AM »
I would like to announce a big prediction - if at the end of the season it does not come true, I will donate £50 to RAWK or a charity of this thread's unanimous choosing.

Prediction: Liverpool will win the Premier League this year.

Secondary prediction (not part of bet but which I think will happen): Steven Gerrard will return to Liverpool at some point this year.

If we win the league this year, I will go sponsor a less fortunate kid and provide for him.

I'll give 100 to Rawk if we win the league no issue

Think we have a chance as wel

God I fucking hate them
I should be laughing really but they are the most annoying knob stains on the planet

It's crazy isn't it...Klopps doing alright so far - he's stopped the rot. Thats all.

If scousers think a couple of fortunate draws, a 1-0 win at home to a capital 1 cup Bournemouth side, a freak win over Chelsea which wouldn't have happened had Lucas been sent off and a 1-0 against a pretty poor Rubin Kazam means they are going to win the league, then the delusion is stronger than i thought!.

No wonder we so many images of crying scousers when they set their expectations so high!

Yes. I also assume he isn't in Liverpool himself as otherwise I fail to see how he could possibly hope to find someone less fortunate than himself.

ZING!

A bit of digging reveals that he's a Somalian child pirate and he's trying to raise funds for the poor people of Liverpool.

That £50 is his life savings so go easy on him, and Klopp already said he asked Gerrard back.
