Alright, that made me laugh."Pochettino looks like someone who spends a lot of time loosening his tie, mopping his brow and regretting the three ham and cheese croissants he had for lunch."

The bloke is clearly on a wind up or slightly delusional.
Bloke said he's not a Vardy who's 7 years older lol.
Alright, that made me laugh.
In fairness to Poch I read recently that he prefers to be a tracksuit manager but his parents, bless them, told him that he looked scruffy when he was on the television hence the new look.
I find it astonishing that football fans fall for the spin that clubs and media put out. And then repeat it to anyone within earshot. It's like they are incapable of reaching a conclusion by themselves. That solicitors guy after the Chelsea Liverpool game who spoke about the Conspiracy against Chelsea, these Arsenal fans who talk about fatigue, Man Utd fans who think Martial is the best player in the world because they paid so much money for him and Liverpool fans full stop. Don't get me wrong, we're just as bad.
Just makes me like him more.In fairness to Poch I read recently that he prefers to be a tracksuit manager but his parents, bless them, told him that he looked scruffy when he was on the television hence the new look.
Yeah, all fans get brain washed into their own little conspiracies and beliefs. There are a few that are worse than others, however. I think certain fans are pretty deluded or irrational over others.
I'd actually say Man U fans are on the whole some of the most balanced fans out there. The way they actually can see how good Kane and we have been performing this season, when a lot of other fans just refuse to acknowledge it.
Also, they seem to have quite a decent handle on their place in the football food chain and I'm actually surprised by the LACK of a sense of entitlement on the Man U forums. It's funny, but they all seem to have kind of accepted that they aren't favourites for the title and their squad isn't comparable to City's really. They seem to be more bothered about getting the team to play more attacking football than winning the league.
Of course, they will have their fair share of idiots, but overall I do find the United fans quite grounded and knowledgeable compared to many others.
I fucking hate United and find their fans abhorrent. Condescending mofos
I actually think they're the opposite, every time I have a read of redcafe, their fans make it sound like they're a shoe-in for top 3 and also deserve to buy players like Kane. Does my head in.Yeah, all fans get brain washed into their own little conspiracies and beliefs. There are a few that are worse than others, however. I remember reading about Vardy and how his latest goal (being a Penalty) was still important for his run and Leicester's of course, etc etc... (Though I remember many criticising Soldado for his)
The point being, a goal is a goal, no matter how scrappy etc... and any fan who goes on about how a player is not up to scratch because their goals are in some way flukey etc... clearly simply doesn't understand football.
Last time I checked there isn't a goal committee who sits down each week and re-adjusts scores and stats based upon how genuinely class a goal is or not. Jesus wept...
Yeah but why let that get in the way of some Spammer (sorry Riggi for using that) bashing. I bet you vote Corbyn don't you?To be fair to West Ham fans above here, there is only one tosspot arguing that Kane is crap and lucky - whereas several posters provides rational posts.
Some folks said the same about Greaves but I bet the same people would give their right arm to have him back in the team now. (In his 20's of course)Gary Lineker said that standing next to the opposition goalie at corners yielded about 6-8 goals a season, a simple thing but one that helped make him one of the best goal scorers of his generation in world football. Pretty sure there were lots that slagged him off at the time for being a 'goal hanger'. Some people people just don't get it.
Nat Lofthouse used to stand next to the goalie, wait for the goalie to catch the ball and while he was still off balance, barge him into the net. It was allowed in those days and Lofthouse scored numerous goals that way.Gary Lineker said that standing next to the opposition goalie at corners yielded about 6-8 goals a season, a simple thing but one that helped make him one of the best goal scorers of his generation in world football. Arsenal fans in my experience are the worst because they can't actually have a proper conversation about football without them resorting to "Forever in our shadow" or "Spuds"/" Tiny Totts" etc..they always make excuses like injuries for example and can never give praise when its due, they seem to be pretty childish and petty as well.
Maybe it's because a lot of people I know are Arsenal fans but it can't be me who has had that experience with them.[/QUOTE
Absolutely spot on.
