Let the Leicester fans have their fun now. I could be wrong but I'm still convinced it will be a different story come May 15th.

They've had a cracking season so far - who knows where they'll end up, real fairy tale stuff...I doubt it'll be replicated again next season.

All these twattish Leicester fans talking about putting us back in our place just aren't very clever as our place has always been above them by many points or even a whole league.

Remind me again what league position they had when Suarez left at the end of the season? Were we above them then?

When was the last time we won a trophy other than the league cup? What about Liverpool?

They are certainly no longer the powerhouse they were and yes, by and large recently we have been on an upward trends vs them, but bugger me, some of you lot need keep a little perspective.
We will never get anywhere by putting these supposedly bigger teams on a pedestal. They have good finance because they were doing well when the Premiership took off worldwide and therefore have a worldwide fan base. Amazingly enough they did well in Suarez's last season because .... they had Suarez! Like when we had Bale. They also have a biased media backing them. However, the reality is we have consistently finished above them, currently have a better team and are attractive because of our London location.

This thread has suddenly lost all its appeal.

Ha my sentiments, I'm going to scan read the next few pages when they arrive.....and hopefully get back in here after the Sunderland game......(FINGERS, TOES, EYES, BALLS CROSSED!)

What happened to all this lovely football they were supposed to be playing???

Holding at every corner, in both penalty areas (getting the call EVERY time Mr Mason) and hoof ball.

So in 3 games, we haven't beaten Leicester this season.

We have a fourth and final game coming up against them this season.

We are in no place to give it the biggen, they are above us, have more wins and now beaten us at home.

Can't do anything but say well done, regardless of how they are winning, one thing is for certain, Leicester are showing the league what real hardword and never giving up can actually do.

Cant help but agree (even though I dont want to haha). They do not play the nice pass, pass, pass football like we do, however they are more of a threat when they go forward and they are clinical. When the chance comes they take it. A very effective team that has to be taken seriously this year, every week I think they are going to lose but then they go & win again.

I'll be glad to see the back of Leicester! Sick of the sight of them (playing us!). IMO, the hardest team we've played. They're a nightmare to break down. I suspect that next season, will be quite different for them from this season. Fair play n' all that. But it won't last...

I think it's funny everyone cussing them for playing 'hoofball' - like we've been playing like fecking Barca.

Last night we had as many backwards and sideways passes as under AVB, and the only things that matters anyway is that Leicester beat us using those tactics. In two home games we've scored one goal from open play against them while they've scored three against us.

I wish we could play ugly and keep winning games.

I'd rather they won the league than Arsenal though. They need to make the most of this season as the summer will see their team ripped apart when the big boys come and take their best players.

Two of them were from corners, not open play.

Mahrez and Vardy will be off next season regardless of where Leicester finish. Actually Vardy might be priced out of a move as they'll demand for more than a 30 year old with one good season is worth, but no way will Mahrez still be there.

It absolutely was a smash and grab by them and Schmecel did have a blinder too! That's why I think these kinda games have to be taken on the chin and we move on from the, It happens and teams like Leicester will do that..They are still top 4 or higher contenders though, without a doubt!

I tend to take more note of what "neutral" fans have to say about the game than what we or the opposition say. I got the piss taken a bit today, Villa, West Ham and Chelsea fans, but all agreed that it was a total smash and grab, with Schmieckel having a blinder.

We get them games at WHL quite often, keepers and strikers somehow seem to find their best form in years when they come to us, so I take it on the chin same as every other time.

As for Leicester fans, well they've been that way since O'Neal. Quiet as Church mice when normal service is resumed, gobbier than Scousers when they get a little success.
