Surely all this depends on how long Roy plays our guys for snd whether they all come back in one piece.
I dont know, between England taking so many of our guys at this crucial stage and us getting 3 MNF games on the fkin bounce which is unheard of as far as I know, you have to wonder if some unseen force out there is intentionally trying to fk us up.
We played catch up on Sundays because we were in Europa. Weeks we didn't play Thurs, fk you you're still playing Sunday. Now were out of Europe? Oh you're out now??? Ok fk you ya didn't like Sundays you can play on Mondays.
The difference it would make to this run in were we playing first, cutting the lead to 2 pts and piling pressure on Leicester rather than us trying to chase a 8pt gap cannot be understated imo.
Wankers.... whoever 'they' are.
Totally lost the thread thrre but fk it I was on a rant :)

You do realise that when they decided the Monday fixtures we were still in the Europa, so possibly they arranged them to give us the extra day in case we went all the way

Bored with internationals now lets get back to the important stuff!

Reading today that Sturridge will definitely start on Tuesday against Holland. Hopefully Vardy will also, so Kane gets a rest. Also Milner in midfield so again hopefully Dier and/or Alli drop out. Rose and Walker I assume will play which is a pain but Tuesday night to a late Saturday kick off and then only one game per week for the rest of the season, I really don't see too much need for rotation now.

Is it bad of me to hope that Sturridge gets a slight injury that hinders him on saturday but does no permanent damage?

Lamela returns a day later than everyone else and is coming from South America, so I reckon it will be a risk to start him.

Assuming Alderweireld, Dembele and Lamela have recovered in time, but Walker players 90 minutes against Netherlands:

Lloris
Trippier
Alderweireld
Wimmer
Rose
Dier
Dembele
Lamela
Alli
Eriksen
Kane

I am quite worried about the state some of our squad will be returning in, as the omission of two or three key players could actually result in half our team having to be changed, and our starting XI being no stronger than against Dortmund. If Alderweireld and Dembele can't play, Dier will need to drop into defence, so we'll effectively be missing two CMs and our best CB. We could then potentially have to start Mason and Caroll in CM (Bentaleb would offer better balance, if he were fit). Eriksen or Alli could drop deeper, but if we're also missing Lamela, that would mean starting two of Chadli, Son and Onomah.

Unless Verts returns or someone gets injured, simple copy and paste this side into the 'Team V ...' Thread for the rest of the season.

Lloris
Walker Alderweireld Wimmer Rose
Dier Dembele
Lamela Alli Eriksen
Kane

Got a feeling Son might bag a goal in front of the Kop. Not basing this on anything tangible except that when I think about it, it plays in my head like the shadow of something that has already happened.

Feeling like some kind of poetic spurs supporting clairvoyant today.

A bit worried about Dembele following a problem with his ankle training with Belgium. Hoping Verts will be back and I half expect Son to start with Lamela on the bench as Erik has done a lot of travelling this week. Liverpool are very hit and miss though, we should have enough to handle them and our England boys should be buzzing after a (mostly) very positive week.

Surely Liverpool will have the same worries as well though? They have just as many internationals as we do and have more injury worries. We don't need our absolute strongest 11 to beat them. They should be more worried about us, then us them.
