A bit worried about Dembele following a problem with his ankle training with Belgium. Hoping Verts will be back and I half expect Son to start with Lamela on the bench as Erik has done a lot of travelling this week. Liverpool are very hit and miss though, we should have enough to handle them and our England boys should be buzzing after a (mostly) very positive week.

Dembele played the last 10mins (i think) for Belgium, so dont think his ankle is a problem.

We know what we have to do in this game and that is win.
They are very Jekyll and Hyde, and may have an eye on the Thursday Euro game, but hopefully it won't make a difference either way.

Should be a very entertaining game though... For the neutral at least. :nailbiting:

Would be good if we could put some pressure on Leicester for a change (especially with one of their harder games on Sunday)

Maybe the match won't be as easy as some think. Although they are in a period of transition, they have shown pretty decent form at home under Klopp and over recent seasons we haven't done very well against them. It's sure to end up being a very hard match and we shall need our best team out to stand any chance of nicking a win. At their ground I would be happy if we could walk away with a draw.

An early goal like we did at Bournemouth will settle the anfield crowd down. Otherwise it's going to be a very tough game for us.

Toby has done a runner to the khazi. Could still be driving the porcelain bus by Saturday.

Surely Liverpool will have the same worries as well though? They have just as many internationals as we do and have more injury worries. We don't need our absolute strongest 11 to beat them. They should be more worried about us, then us them.

Wish I shared your optimism. Think it will be very tough, but then I think that about almost every game.

On their day they can be very effective. I suspect they will press hard and high up the pitch from the start.. Courtinho, Sturridge, Firmino and Can are pretty decent if on song.

This will be tougher than Chelsea away

It feels like that over the last few seasons we've had numerous 'massive' games against Liverpool, and have come out disappointed more often than not...let's hope this one is different. Aside from the hammering that finished AVB, we also conspired to give Super Mario his only premier league goal for Liverpool, and threw away a 2-1 advantage when BAE took up WWE in the penalty box.

If someone can promise me we'll win, that'll be great. Cheers.

Hopefully Firmino rested for Dortmund, hes been out injured with a hamstring injury so mightn't be fully fit or risked anyway (I hope).

Klopp is already talking about the Dortmund game in the press, hopefully this is in an indication of where his focus is for the next week!
