If this stays the same, we'd expect City to beat Arsenal now with Aguero and De Bruyne in form, we'd need four points to finish above Arsenal.

Barring an implosion, Arsenal dropping points today basically ensures top 3 finish for us.

It's been a great last few weeks for us, in terms of consolidating automatic CL qualification.

Total shots on target vs on-target shots against

We've had nearly 50 more shots on target than anyone else! Pus least against.
Amazing Leicester are top of the league with those stats. Very similar to Southampton! Does that mean they have been ridden their luck or had excellent finishing & goalie?
Yeah. They've been living off of 1-0 or 2-0 games with with only 1 or 2 shots on goal recently. They are very clinical where we havent been. We've lost and drawn games that we should have won solely because we havent been able to finish.

I would have rather they dropped all three points and after West Ham went 2-1 up i fully expected them to, so a little disappointed on that front. But they had to start dropping points today, if we were to have any real chance and so from that point of view today was a good start, which we must take advantage of 2moro night.

The lads will be well up for it tomorrow, seeing Leicester and Woolwich dropping 2 points each. It gives us a chance to put more pressure on Leicester, and they have to wait until next Sunday to try and do something about it!

I feel lost. All my calculations were based on Arsenal beating Crystal Palace. They've actually outdone themselves and fucked up in a way I had not conceived to be possible.

75 points now guarantees Top 2. As Arsenal play City, I'm sure the points requirement for Top 3 is now lower (72 to 73 points), depending on the result of that game. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong :)

Same site has total shots:
Leicester: 435 vs 441
Wow! They are only 9th for shots at goal and have had more shots against them than Villa!

Swansea just gonna sit back vs Leicester and can easily see a draw or Swansea sneaking it. Leicesters front without Vardy is really weak, especially when you consider Mahrez's horrible form.

They've been very clinical. To be honest stats only ever tell half the story. A succession of tame long range efforts straight at the keeper, lots of shots through crowded bodies that are on target and get deflected wide etc.

We win tomorrow and we really put the pressure on. It's a definite win as well. The only other times we have had the opportunity to put the pressure on we've wilted. Time for us to right that!
