How do you know that's how he started the interview? That's simply how the article started.

Also, ask any manager in the league and they would most likely say a similar thing. Leicester have been top for so long now, it's a remarkable story. It's hard for neutrals not to want to see them win. I don't really think he's said anything wrong.

it's the way his interview started on SSN too, but no 1 knows if his press conference started in any other way

He's not a "neutral" he is a premier league manager, one who's team are going to have a direct impact on where the title ends up so it's his responsibility to remain professional, they pulled a ref off of our game because he had watched one Leicester match with his friends before, yet they won't question comments like this from a manager who could have a huge impact on where the title ends up?

Also why is it hard for Neutrals to not want to see them win? Please explain to me what is so fantastic about Leicester in comparison to us? And why Neutrals would look at them and think "Wow they really deserve it" as opposed to us?

Because they came from bottom to top in a season? A financial doped team owned by a Thai billionaire? A racist striker with a disgusting attitude? Boring uninventive championship football?

Sounds like a real Fairytale story to me, if Neutrals are pulling for Leicester I have to question why really, if they want a team like that to win the league it speaks volumes for the average supporter doesn't it?

I swear some people even on here who are spurs fans have been trying to tell me I should be happy for them to win the league, what planet am I living on?
It's quite clear that neutrals in this context refers to neither Spurs or Leicester associated people.

As I said before, ask any manager that isn't Poch and they most likely would say they'd like to see Leicester win. That doesn't put into question their loyalties to their club or their professionalism.

They pulled the ref of the game to prevent any possible controversy. What do you want them to do? Ban players and managers from looking at the table so that they can't be in a position to understand the effect their game will have on other teams?

The reason why so many neutrals want to see Leicester win isn't because they have reinvented football, or that they tear every team apart or that people have fallen in love with the football they play. But because they are a side who were only promoted 2 seasons ago, they were nearly relegated last season and are now about to win one of the most competitive top leagues around. Whether one is a Spurs fan or not, there's no doubting it's an amazing story, a story that will likely never be repeated. That is why so many want to see them do it.

Vardy is much more important to Leicester than Kane is to us. For example, here is a stat from a few weeks ago

If you did just remove Kane's goals, including his own goal at Swansea, we'd only lose 5 points.
If you simply take out Vardy's goals, Leicester lose 19 points, and the same with Mahrez. If you take out Vardy and Mahrez's goals, they lose 36 points.

Their team is set up much more around Vardy than our game is on Kane.

Disagree with that, Vardy is far more important to them than Kane is to us.

They just did a top 10 list on SSN of players that have won their team the most points, Vardy was top and I don't think Kane was even in the top 10, in fact I don't think I saw a single Spurs player!

after a penalty being given for a small push in the area from a set piece last night in the Wet Spam v Watford game, this weekend Leicester will be without their talisman striker, and weakened in defence at corners and other set pieces. the only downside is so will Swansea as Ashley Williams is as bad as Huth

I knew the moment Vardy got sent off last week how it would effect the way they play & he is their main outlet, everybody looks for Vardy - they will be lost without him this week & draw for them will not be worth enough as they will lose at OT next week guarenteed & we will be playing Chelsea to go top on the Monday following our forthcoming triumph over West Brom.

Everton have clearly gone on holiday in the league, and if they also lose the cup semi-final, I just cannot see them putting up a fight against Leicester. Therefore, that game will probably be a walk-over for The Foxes. This is why it's vital for us that they drop points against Swansea.
Agree, on current form it would be a big shock, but it could play into our hands if Everton somehow beat Utd this Saturday, Utd would want to bounce back and concentrate solely on trying to get 4th, whilst it would be a boost for Everton, and their players will be playing for cup final places in the matches leading up to the final. Lose on Saturday and the wheels may come off Everton's season big time and they will be almost as easy to roll over as Villa, if that is possible at the moment.

The common denominator is that whilst Martinez knows how to get his teams playing decent attacking football he is simply incapable of organising a defence or protecting one, it was the same with Wigan, if he wasn't too proud to admit it and deployed a defensive coach or someone with tactical nous in the background to cover up some of these shortcomings he might save his job.

In the end we must assume a cup shock won't happen and just do our job as best we can by going all out to win our games anyhow or anyway we can as we have no control over what and how other teams fare against Leicester with or without Vardy.
