They should tell us which seats in the North are being taken out before the Southampton game. For someone like me who has sat there for 10 years it's a big deal as it would be nice to shake everyones hand after the game knowing it would be the last time we sat together.

Whatever the colour of them I hope they've developed some fade and dirt resistant ones!

Or just cleaned them. I went to one game, in Feburary I think, and one of the seats in front of me was really dirty. It was one of the white seats, so it was pretty obvious. The same dirt was there when I went again a few weeks later.

Thought to be of the possible new tower crane base - which would make the 4th on site

There's only two tower cranes at the moment, and one mobile one, right? This would be the third and I suspect a 4th is going in on the south east of the site.

Would I be right in thinking the first naming rights deal has great potential due to how much exposure the stadium will get in it's first year. When Arsenal moved into theirs it got so much coverage on Sky Sports and in the press. Our stadium is going to be even more impressive.

Just to confuse things I can count 4 cranes now, 3 in the main building area and one at the side of WHL stadium.

The 3 in the main building area look the same size, so which is the mobile one ?

The one that isn't sunk into the ground. That'd be the one closest to the Paxton Road end. The other two are right at the end of the pitch parallel to where the new goal line will be

As camaj said the one nearest Paxton is the mobile crane. It's a big beast - the crane not camaj - and can also be spotted by the angle it's at. Not recommended for a tower crane ;)

Also notice that the cab is on the ground, whereas the cab in a tower crane is at the top of the tower and the actual crane is even higher

I'd write to the club mate; they'll probably be sympathetic to that.

Will they not have to remove the entire Paxton Road roof, as it's a "goal post" design, not a cantilever one, and if the "goal post" in NE corner is removed there's nothing to keep the rest up? Part of the East Stand roof would have to come down as well, as the Paxton roof also supports part if it. There used to be four poles holding up the East Stand roof until the new stands at either end went up and took part of its weight

Get in touch with The Tottenham Hotspur supporters trust, they're possibly your best bet at getting through to Tottenham, plus it will give them something useful to do than just Lord it over us "normal" fans.

You have hit on a very serious issue here. The Stadium is actually filthy nowadays. I sit east upper front row, when I got to my seat against WBA the place was covered in pigeon shit. They wont clean it either, the hoardings lower down are covered in an inch of dust, they sell food, the place is a health hazard.

But we don't like you.

We're spoken to the club and arranged a team move to another part of the stadium (a really cool part) while requesting your ticket is moved next to Chirpy.

I thought that the rumours had suggested that these seats would be removed at around Xmas time. I would think that for logistic purposes it may be better for you guys to sit in your own seats until this happens. Maybe up to 10 more opportunities to shake hands? (y)

Apologies if it's been discussed already but what is the reason for taking down part of the Paxton? How will it help the new build?

If you check any of the overhead pictures from the last 20 pages (e.g. the one on SpursIdol's post on this page) it is fairly intuitive that around half of the main structure can be completed without demolishing any of the current stadium but the first existing stand 'in the way' is the Paxton

I would have thought that they would take the seats away during the summer break when they have time, to try and remove and make safe in a 2 week window between games would be a nightmare and health and safety guys would have a fit;)
