Mason's having an operation on his fractured ankle today or tomorrow. He won't even be able to take a medical for 8 weeks or so, so the story is clearly bollocks

The Bournemouth link is just lazy from the local rags down their, principally because his best mate is Adam Smith
You appear to suggest your ITK?

If he was playing injured then that does change my opinion on keeping him somewhat, however it also concerns me why we continued to play him despite him hardly pulling up any trees.

He's been playing injured since Christmas. He was asked to delay his operation because of Bentaleb's injury. Dembele's suspension (and lack of confidence in Carroll) meant he had to feature much more than he was ever expected to

i don't think playing onomah or winks would be worse than playing injured mason...
for the sake of his career i don't think he should delay his operation and play with injury...

He wasn't doing any more harm to it (save for to his reputation with the boo boys). The decision was help us with the run-in vs going the Euros.

i feel sorry for him. he decided to put the club in front of his national team dream but gets the hate from our own fans because of his performance which is probably affected by the injury

If true shame on the club for allowing it, winks or Carrol could do as good a job as an injured mason. Poch could even have God forbid it changed his system slightly to accommodate. Hopefully playing on it hasn't made it worse.

Expect Carroll will be one of the first out the door this summer if Poch prefer's a one-legged Mason to him then.

This is in no way bashing ITK as obviously it is just passed off in good faith, but its a fact that ITK is hit and miss.

I think it's incredibly harsh to take this for gospel and absolutely chastise Danny Rose in the way that some of you are. Not saying it isnt true, but until it's confirmed, I think you should really stop it.

To be fair, he was pictured up there by Sunderland's official twitter and then wasn't picked against Newcastle - doesn't prove the ITK to be true but does make it more believable.

I agree. Though it is fairly specific.

Not like someone has heard he might be off to Chelsea for instance.

Maybe it will be confirmed or refuted by others, but it hasn't been as yet.

Yeah we just gotta wait until Poch confirms Rose went out on a session :D. It'll all be purely speculative. If he goes this summer then it'll be confirmed but I think he'll admit wrong doing if true and buckle down and work under Poch.
