I hope these njie reports are bollocks, if not I'm embarrassed to be a spurs fan, can't force a player to a club

We have moved on a lot of players that hardly played and brought in two that will. How does that make us weaker?

Chadli played almost 1700 minutes for us last season. Mason played 1300. That is a lot of minutes that the rest of the squad has to make up for, even with Janssen as a proper forward replacement for Chadli.

No one was upset about them being in the squads last season. We needed them in the squad last season as we had no one else.
Oh come on, I read enough match day threads to know people were moaning.

'How can you bring Chadli on when Onomah is on the bench'

Just a rough example

Sorry but if you don't think Wanyama is an improvement on Mason or Bentaleb then I have to say I'm surprised. And Janssen is without doubt a huge upgrade on nobody at all.

we havent improved our first 11, but added two very good squad members. By losing Mason and Bentaleb we are certainly one dimensional in the centre. The competition for the front 3 isn't great and we definitely miss certain attributes to change things round. We are not weaker than we were. But others have certainly seemed to have both improved in regards to their staff and playing squad to a much greater degree than we have.

It's not disastrous by any stretch and the two players we have bought in are very good rotation options, but we certainly need to act in the remainder of this window. And that doesn't mean throwing money at Zaha and Sissoko.

Nkoudou is done if his twitter message is anything to go by, again though Spurs don't announce before a player, we are a joke!
Lets hope we announce a couple more tomorrow - Isco in particular :)

Good news if N'Koudou is done. Should mean Zaha is off the list as well.

So he replaces Chadli I suppose.

I think that will be us done.

Sissoko I would argue is an definite upgrade than Mason or Carroll or Nabil. When Sissoko's mind is on the game , he can be a match winner. All 3 were decent but do not have abolity to turn a game. Problem is getting consistency from Sissoko. If we end up with him, i hope Poch can get the best out of him like he has done with other players.

we did pretty well with injuries last season though. Personally I think we're a bit light at CM and lacking options in attack. Hoping we see something positive tomorrow!

Good news on GKN.
Still think we are playing it finely with the squad. Quite disappointed if we fail to bring in anyone else who can push for a 1st 11 position.

If N'kodododo is our big signing on deadline day then I'm going to be disappointed.

The fans want Isco
Pochettino wants Isco
The club needs Isco

Sissoko actually makes more sense now that Bentaleb and Mason are gone, as it would give us cover at both slots in Poch's favored formation (ie Dier/Wanyama, Dembele/Sissoko). And if we really got 13 mil (!) for Mason, I would take a trade of Mason + Pritchard for Sissoko...

Sissoko could not play in a CM2, let alone in Poch's system.

If we don't sell anyone else apart from N'Jie I could live with this.

N'Kandou effectively replaces N'Jie/Chadli who shared a role last year.

Sissoko replaces Bentaleb/Mason/Carroll who also shared a role.

It does leave us a bit light on numbers though. A couple if injuries and we could be looking at Champions League ties with quite a few of the youngsters on the bench.

Sissoko is nothing like any of those three players

Hmm. GKN announcement tonight then? Guess tomorrow will be Eriksen new contract and Lopez then we're done for the transfer window.
God help the SC servers if tomorrow's "big announcement" is Eriksen getting paid more.
