I have watched a fair amount of Newcastle games the past few seasons and Sissoko has impressed at times. Definitely not as bad as people are making out imo.

Poch must be fuming his right hand man has already give Levy the finger. Due Levy not letting him do his job!!! I have a horrible feeling due to the disappointment of not getting Batsu that Poch is really pissed off and also now Mitchell has gone, I really think Poch is a goner due to that fact. I hope I'm truly wrong LEVY IS A BELL END!!!!
I'm fed up with this whingy bullshit from self indulgent wankers like your good self.

You clearly know dick about dick about pretty much anything, be it life, football or running a business. We didn't sign Batshuayi because he wanted £130k net. Mitchell hardly bought in any real gems and if he was Poch's right hand man, he'd have joined at the same time as the rest of the backroom staff.
Levy, like him or loath him always works in the best interest of the club as stated by numerous ITK's and if that doesn't fit in with your world view I'd suggest Harry Hotspur might be a better place for you

Marginally now, but that doesn't mean I don't think Pochettino has been left short of the tools to compete on two fronts and several players are going to be flogged into the ground again.

That was not the point being argued, it was whether or not we are stronger than last season. We all agree that we need another couple more bodies in for this window to be a real success, but that doesn't mean we haven't improved the squad already.

Clinton N’Jie has finally accepted to join Marseille from Tottenham on an initial loan deal with an quasi-obligatory option to buy worth €7m, according to L’Équipe.

The player has already undergone a medical successfully with OM and will sign the dotted line tomorrow.

This news allows Tottenham to finally sign Georges Kevin Nkoudou for €11m.

Sorry but if you don't think Wanyama is an improvement on Mason or Bentaleb then I have to say I'm surprised. And Janssen is without doubt a huge upgrade on nobody at all.

As a busy **** he's a big improvement on both, as a footballer he's not an improvement on either and a massive downgrade on Bentaleb. Wanyama and Bentaleb would have been a superb pairing.

Sissoko could not play in a CM2, let alone in Poch's system.

Sissoko is nothing like any of those three players

It amazing how many people think he plays cm. In almost all the games last season he played on the right of the 3 behind the striker or in a few in the 10 role

I don't want to get into an online argument about whether or not we've improved as you're obviously a well informed guy with good connections and life's too short. Overall I think we have inproved but not by much and I think we lack depth. I'm not sure NKoudou and a third keepers solve that either. I think a more pertinent question is surely whether we're well enough equipped to compete this season, with the addition of Champions League football and the opposition all getting stronger. I wouldn't be overly impressed if I was Poch with the options available to me beyond our first 11

I think most people are just a bit concerned. The squad may or may not be stronger. The fact that it's causing such an argument would suggest there's not much in it. However the competition we face this year IS far stronger than last. Be it the league or Europe. And our first 11 has not improved.......at least not yet!

Trying to keep the faith

Or maybe Levy and Poch got fucked off with Mitchell because his idea of improving our team was the likes of Berahino, McCarthy, Njie, Son, Sissoko, Zaha etc.

Who knows ?

Overdone meme imo:

Lloris -> Vorm
Walker -> Trippier
Toby -> nobody
Jan -> Wimmer
Rose -> Davies
Dier -> Wanyama
Dembele -> nobody
Lamela -> Son
Alli -> nobody
Eriksen -> GKN (hopeful)
Kane -> Janssen

SO, at a minimum we have 7 players who could slot into the starting XI, and we should be fine. Maybe 8 if GKN can step in. The subs are not quite as good as the starters, that is why they are subs - but we can win with them in the line-up.
