so Poch is concerned about the things most fans are....outgoings not replaced/upgraded. Not good and surely DL wont let this happen as he must worry Poch could walk/

If Poch walks, Levy gets compensation from whichever club he goes to.
Levy's focus right now is on the new stadium.

Who knows. I do think he would've given the green light to sell who we have and would know what we have. And maybe that's why the son sale didn't go through.

Everyone seems to think that levy is just selling people without the OK from poch and that isn't and can't be the case.
of course he is ok with the outs. pretty sure he's got assurances that we will replace them though, and that's the problem. it's a fucking loop with levy

I hear all the people saying that Poch said this and Poch said that and we have to trust in him

But we have a chance to grab a seat at the top table. We are there for a season but to stay there we need to progress. Wanyama and Janssen are good signings but we are still treading water whilst others swim past us.

If Levy wants us to stay in the top 4 he needs to allow some decent investment. Of course there are no guarantees with that, and i know we have a stadium to pay for but if we don't get top 4 again again this season we will then be at risk of losing some top players and we go even further backwards

Wouldn't fault Poch for looking for another job if Levy promise him better players if they clear the decks, and then fail to deliver. That's pretty much lying to your manager, and can't see a man like Poch taking lightly on that.

Not good ITK

My concern is Poch he let players go with a promise we would improve quality, this is yet again very short sighted by Levy if we fail to get anybody bar GNK and Pau.

Hence my call for calm yesterday, typical Levy, bad news as it will upset players and Poch, broken promises

And also regarding Poch

Possibly but not walk out just go if he gets right offer, he wanted to improve quality and use youngsters to develop quality and have back up, if we fail to bring in at least 1 more we will have limited forward/creative player at least- Zaha, Coric were both players he was happy to bring in, he wanted more pace, he wanted more options so he could have a plan B/C etc numbers were not that important but certainly been left with less than he would want.

Very worrying. If Zidane and Emery fail this season I'd expect Real and PSG to come in for Poch next year. It will be hard to keep hold of him- I'm hoping the new stadium is something that would make him want to stay even more.

Literally never thought we'd push Pochettino out by lack of signing right players. Huge shame. This started way back during his reign. I'd say Pochettino has not experienced one truly successful summer transfer window at Spurs. I think we are touching upon a truly funamental problem in "broken promises". Go to show that AVB should be somewhat forgiven for his tenure at the club, if you look at both side of things.

I know people try to stay positive, but this is nothing new. Harry's flapping lips gave us a good idea of how transfers are left to the last minute in the hope of a "Levy special". AVB moaned about broken promises on players. Can it really be any different under Poch? I doubt it.

Every seemingly "failed" window the manager has come out and said "I'm happy with the squad" afterwards. This has happened since Jol. I have a belief that Levy insists on this for PR reasons. Watch Poch say it in the coming days. Wouldn't be surprised if we get another letter from Levy on the club site as well.

It's good that Poch focuses on youth, and I have no doubt that he was hired over others because he said the right things to Levy that made the latter think he could save some bucks leading up to the new stadium. But I'm not so sure that means pinning our hopes on the kids is all we have to do until the stadium is built.

Having said all that, I honestly think that last season is a bonus and Levy is more than happy to coast along until the stadium is up and running and has been for a few seasons now. For that reason I don't think people should be surprised.

Even if we only sign Lopez on loan and N’Koudo today it’s still a successful window. It shouldn’t be judged on last day business.

Got rid of deadwood, brought in quality striker, quality CM, quick, direct attacking wide player and quality keeper back up. We’d all love a top quality tricky attacking playmaker, who wouldn’t? But, unless he’s available, Poch’s type of player and the right price, then how do we get one?

Plus we don’t want to overload the squad and limit chances for the likes of Edwards and Winks.

Despite the negative ITK, no lights on at Hotspur Way with the gates padlocked, how many of us are willing to admit that we'll still be up till 11pm tonight, hoping Levy pulls one out the bag??

Pinch. Of. Salt.

Funny how we have had next to no ITK all summer and now it's all going to implode.
