Year after year after year. Manager after manager. Dof and chief scout all coming and going.

Only one consistent element, and people for some reason still expect things to change.

:ROFLMAO:

Pinch of salt , guys....Its not like other positive ITK did happen.

I find hard to believe how a 3rd person would know the feelings of Pochettino , unless Poch has been speaking about it to everyone.

We're basically relying on NKD coming in, immediately adapting to the league and being a much better player than he was at Marseilles.

I see the negative dip on the deadline day emotional roller coaster has happened early this year. Lets hope the positive turn happens later.

Given that Spurs use Stansted and RA has his private jet parked up at Luton i would say this is more likely to be signs of him going to Chelsea.

edit: ignore me, there's no way Levy is stumping up for a private jet, surely we managed to cobble together enough for an easyjet flight to Luton for Sissoko. :)
Apparently the chap was wearing a spurs tracksuit, I said it was probably a Chelsea guy dressed up!

I think this Poch being frustrated stuff is more people projecting their own thoughts on to him, in a 'if I was him' way.

I fully agree that he'd be in his rights to be pissed off as we've had more transfer misses than hits under him, and there does seem to be a new glass ceiling forming for us this season which wouldn't be there at other clubs. So I wouldn't exactly blame him.

However I just think if today was the be all and end all he wouldn't be pictured chilling on a beach today is all.

3 of the midfielders and 2 defenders never played in prem soo no its not deep at all! Levys let down Poch big time!! God knows what is going to happen but atm its an awful window to me!

How have we not even announced GKN yet????

the club will be delighted to announce that signing at around 9pm tonight .
Even though it was done a lot earlier, blatantly held back so we have something to announce for deadline day

guys, we are not making anymore signings. Its just too late. But this tactic actually helps Levy because at the 11th hour no club will sell their best players for any price

based on the last 10+ transfer windows i think you are very wrong, plenty of players from all over the world will leave last minute, especially players like Sissoko (been wanting out of Newcastle for weeks now) and Isco (ok i know it is dead) as Madrid have plenty of players to spare.

At the end of the day money talks, which is also the reason that despite the fact we COULD sign players today easily, we won't.

Everyone keeps saying that our rivals have strengthened while we've stood still. Other than the money bags teams, which of our rivals have strengthened more or better than us?

Got rid of deadwood, brought in quality striker, quality CM, quick, direct attacking wide player and quality keeper back up. We’d all love a top quality tricky attacking playmaker, who wouldn’t? But, unless he’s available, Poch’s type of player and the right price, then how do we get one?

Plus we don’t want to overload the squad and limit chances for the likes of Edwards and Winks.
Got rid of deadwood... I find that so disrespectful referring to players who played there part in getting to CL as deadwood.. bloody hate that term & the likes of Ryan Mason who could never be accused of giving everything he had for the shirt deserve better than been labelled as deadwood.

We had Ali and Dier in midfield last season. both never played in CM in the premiership before...look how that went.

If Pochettino is on a vacation in a Island, its hard to believe he was expecting much activity to be done anyway today...

Also another way of looking at things, we chose not to pay up for Wijnaldum weeks ago (for similar to Sissoko) as we thought we may be in with a shout of getting Isco down the line.

Back then I think most people would have agreed with that action, without the benefit of 20-20 hindsight.

The money bags teams are our rivals if we want to improve! You can't compare us with stoke and Palace! But unfortunately they are getting closer to us.
