Does anyone else think that had we gotten a tougher CL group, Levy might have been more willing to spend? Can't help but feel he's looked at the draw and thought that we should be able to get through regardless

I doubt it. Levy's the kind of guy who goes into Poundland with just 50p in his sewn shut pocket.

As predicted the signings of N'Koudou and that goalie to add to a couple of good squad players in Wanyama and Janssen completes this utter shambles of a transfer window.
We've just finished 3rd in the Premier league, qualified for the Champions league, the biggest TV deal in history and this is our ambition. Disgrace.

I will continue reiterating my previous post not strengthened out first 11 is a huge mistake. All successful clubs each year tweak 1 or 2 first 11 players. Those people that reference last season and being without a striker this was a one off. Look how many challengers were is disarray. Utd, City, L'Pool and Chelsea. Not this season if anyone truly believes we are top 4 material are delluded.

Clearly we will get Sissoko if we meet the price. Who's going to choose Everton over Spurs?

I'm not bothered either way and like most are saying do not want us to play 30 million for him.

No I just think he is incapable of positive net spending. He does not play the same game that all the others play.

My girlfriend was going to watch it on catch up. I've just shown her this message and apparently I've spoilt the technical challenge! I've entered a new world of pain!

So no nookie for you eh and no signings to boot.

Welcome to my fucking world

I think he's actually looked at the PL and thought no chance am I paying 4/5 years of CL wages for 1 year of CL

No point making signings for the sake of it. I think we have sufficient depth to see us through. There aren't many attacking players around of the quality we require that would sign for us on our budget.

The only real disappointment for me this window was Bentaleb deciding he didn't want to prove his quality here.
'On our budget'? As it stands now we've pretty much broke even in this transfer window, maybe even in profit. Was it too much to expect that some of the CL and TV money would be used to get a player that would actually improve our starting 11? With Levy as Chairman it obviously was!

Stadium. Sorry but it's true. Remember The scum during their stadium build.

Does anyone remember the Kane interview where he committed his career to Spurs if they kept moving forward and showing ambition or similar word to the same effect.

Well that's him gone in Jan.....
