My f*ckin CCO had the gall to come sit next to me for the afternoon and really f*cked up my transfer afternoon.

What'd I miss? Nothing?

30million for a player that is not an upgrade on our first 11 and arguably not even our best 'squad' players (wanyama perhaps Son). It's really hard to fathom.

I remember when a lot of people on here were saying the same things about Dembele that they are saying about Sissoko now and look how that's turned out! The majority of us wanted him sold until Poch worked his magic on him. Just imagine if he knows what he's doing and does the same to Sossoko. Trust him.....

There aren't many players of Sissoko's ilk that are proven and have been available this window. He'll carry the ball vertically up the pitch. I am very pleased from a footballing perspective.

As far as the money is concerned, we're in a different era to even two years ago. The numbers in this market are just mad. If we want to compete, we have to sometimes be a bit mad too. £30m for a very good squad player is a bit mental.

Vertically?! Now that's gotta be worth 30m, levitating with ball defenders will have no chance

How many of the people criticising Sissoko also thought Lamela was a waster before Poch got into him?

30 mil is a lot. If the premier league hadn't just signed the largest deal in history for TV rights. This is fish food. Even Levy can sleep easy. In his bed made of money. That's money wasn't even one of his pillows.

I for one am happy with sissoko. Poch will get him working his ass off and he will have to fight for a place. Not like Newcastle. Don't care a joy how much he costs

Could have got him for a lot less had we wanted him before the euros, seems like a bit of a panic buy to me, hopefully Poch can get the best out of him

For me the only issue is his consistency one game he's great the next 5 poor. Poch has sorted that out with Dembele and Walker, so it's a case of trusting him I think IF we get it over the line.
