Everton have had a dreadful dreadful few days. Deals hijacked & lost left right & center .

Arsenal hijacked Perez deal.
Gabbiadini almost agreed, but stayed at Napoli at last moment.
Brahimi deal almost agreed at 35mEur, then Porto said no.
Plane ready in tarmac. Sissoko switches off phone & agrees to us.

They had a scatter gun approach & ultimately failed. Something we did for number of transfer window.

I feel for them...only just.

I'm picturing Levy in his office at Hotspur Way, dressed up in his Dr Evil suit, finding out that Everton have withdrawn their bid and picking up the phone to Mike Ashley to tell him the deal has now changed.

All saw a star player in Italian football.

Taken time to adjust, Poch undoubtedly helped, but there was already a player there.
Not so sure about Sissoko - first touch poor, passing limited, big beast - undoubtedly

nice. i think now we got depth and rotation covered. we got rid of all the deadwood as well, from now onwards every window we can just go for 1 superstar upgrade and be done
