He's Yiddo!!Fucking hell. On Saturday evening I would have given my left bollock to see him play again this season. And now he could be fit for the weekend?
God may well be a Spurs fan.

He really isn't.Fucking hell. On Saturday evening I would have given my left bollock to see him play again this season. And now he could be fit for the weekend?

Not one to risk the wrath of the gods but didn't Poch say Dembele would be back within a few days after suffering cramp?
How defenders see Alderweireld:

Can I play video games inbetween doing that though?
(Bet toby could do both at same time ).
He won't get into this team at RCB for years and years if Toby continues at his current level into his 30s, as CBs often do.I'm really pleased Alderweireld's injury isn't serious, he's such solid cog of our machine, but a bit of me was looking forward to seeing Dier play as RCB as well, get some games and test himself where I think he'll end up.

I think Wimmer is way better at CB than Dier, based on what I've seen of them both there.I get your point, but you never know what happens in football, an uber club could come in with an immense offer and he may want to go, he could get a serious injury, and then we have Vertonghen who's now 29 - and I know I like my CB's to play on their better sides (left/right e.g.) but I think Dier's probably adaptable enough to play games left side as well.
As things stand right now, what do you see for Dier, future wise ? Because I think this season has completely scotched the whole Dier/Dembele CM myth - something I took shit on an almost weekly basis for claiming that I thought wasn't the main reason for our success that everyone else did (I wasn't alone but was in a very small minority).
Poch has (rather oddly) stated we will play with one DM henceforth (I say oddly, because why state something like that, why pin your tactical colours to the mast so unequivocally - leaving you open to questioning if you do want to play with two in the future but also telling all other PL managers what your plans are etc ?) and for me, in this improved system, which at the moment definitely caters to the players we have better, I don't see a first choice role for Dier. Wanyama's skill set is better suited to this new format as the DM. Do you ?
Different players completely, so difficult to compare. Both offer great potential which is promisingI think Wimmer is way better at CB than Dier, based on what I've seen of them both there.
I love Dier, but I agree that he's backup for Wanyama on current form. That'll change, no doubt, not least when Victor starts getting banned for all the yellows and probably some upcoming reds.

All 3 of Wanyama's reds were last seasonIts bad enough when others repeat this tripe, no need for supporters to fall for it also. Wanyama has 2 yellows in 8 league games - he is a long way off from seeing an accumulation penalty. By this point last season, Dier had picked up an accumulation suspension.
Wanyama has 3 RCs in 82 PL matches.... for a DM, thats not a terrible ratio.
