I've now got a vision of a helicopter the size of Albania lowering the whole pre-built roof while a bunch of guys cling to the support pillars trying not to drop their spanners. And I'm going to be really disappointed when it doesn't happen like that.

This was olympic stadium.

Rumours on SSC that there is a new walkway to the Paxton Rd end from the High Road through the new West Stand now the Warmington House route is now closed:

If that's the case I'm going to walk through it, just because.:)

Can they do that thought it was a tensile roof that had to go up in one go?

Only going by what someone who seems much closer to the project said earlier in the thread. Trouble is I don't know who and I'm not going to trawl through the last 300 pages! :)

The Tunnel Club window that views the players as they go onto the pitch, tell me that's one way and the players won't have to look at a load of prawn sandwich eaters while preparing themselves for the game?

Well personally I think it will be very inspiring for the players to see whether I select a Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay to go with my main course .

@Lilbaz from that video it took 28 weeks for one part of the roof and 26 weeks for the other.

Please tell me it isn't going to take over a year to put our stadium roof on:eek:

You're looking at the highest spec that money can buy.

It's not like any of the above has never been or isn't being at the moment done but my word, it looks absolutely stunning.

I really hope they're serious about "World's Greatest Stadium". It'll have to go some to top the Allianz Arena, which has the advantage of a Bierkeller...

You can see with the training ground that levy wants the highest quality and wont cut corners.

In one of those renders is that supposed to be the actual Son Heung-Min, or they think Spurs fans turn up as full kit wankers? :hilarious:

I believe that that is the 'tunnel club' so that is supposed to be the actual Son Heung-Min walking out to the pitch...

There will be one way mirrors so corporates can see the players walking out. So i'm guessing that is son.

Yeah did assume it was that. Should be a unique feature of the ground, not aware that any other U.K. ground offers it.
