Jesus Christ. Some people live in a different world.

I find those images repugnant, to be honest.

But those places already exist in WHL, and in every other stadium in the UK. Heck, when you do a tour of WHL it's just a showing of off how the other half live in the corporate boxes, with some memorabilia thrown in.

The new stadium sadly is just taking it to another level. And it's that level that will pay for the thing sadly, so they get all the shiny renders of their seats first.

I don't care if it's UBER to be honest, sign of the times (nothing personal cabbies, I definitely think you're all better drivers/people/knowledge etc.) The thing that bothers me is - we are paying to build the stadium, we will be playing at least 19 games a season there + cups and NFL are tenants for two games, yet their badge is sat on the side with equal prominence to our own. I hope that's just to highlight the marketing benefits, but as I've said before, I just don't like it! I don't care that they are there, but UBER have to pay £20m a year to have their name on the damn thing and all the NFL need to do is turn up twice?

Tottenham Hotspur have held talks with taxi giant Uber over a £20m-a-year naming rights deal for the club’s new stadium, Squawka can reveal.

Discussions between Spurs and Uber are understood to have first taken place in July, with the club hoping to secure a long-term naming rights partner for the new stadium, which is due to open for the start of the 2018-19 season.

Squawka has obtained a photograph of a model of the ‘Uber Stadium’, as it would be known, featuring the transport company’s name on roof of the 61,000-seater venue.

I'm, like all of you, very excited about the new ground. But I sincerely hope it isn't Uber who sponsor the ground. They exploit their workers and crush competition. I know there are some who would take the highest offer, I would just prefer a corporate with a better image, and just hope it's a Vodafone/HTC/LG etc

As the article states they aren't likely as there's interest from "financial institutions, communications companies and airlines", but it's interesting to see just how many companies are interested, will hopefully drive up the price.
