Theft of the highest order. But a much needed victory. That was a stinking performance though and needs addressing before the other two big games this week.

Winks was tremendous, absolutely fantastic throughout. Really, really impressive full match debut by him. Couldn't be happier for the young fella. It would have been bitter had we lost, but I'd still have been singing this kid's praises in the review thread.

That's a great win after a very ordinary performance against a very ordinary Wesy Ham.
Other than the 3 points and our commitment until the final whistle - let's be honest - there is not much in there to celebrate but an enormous amount to learn from.
We and MoPo have to move forward, we have to find that fluidity again and that means no more Janssen. I'd rather gamble with Son every day of the week and sit him behind Kane.
Papering over the cracks by some margin - I just pray that MoPo can see what the majority of fans can see on this thread.

I wouldn't bother with Eriksen and Janssen anytime soon. useless pair

Son should always play for directness

But really exited about the future prospect of Lamela and winks in the team together, now that's a pair with movement, heart, vison and intelligence

We are not a true pressing team. In order to press the way we want the opposition have to have the ball in their final third. Hard to do that when they dropped off and got 11 behind the ball hence all our sideways possession.

Against Man City they had the ball at the back allowing us to step up and press.

West Ham, Bournemouth and West Brom said you have it come and breaks us down.

We need to be 1-0 up to force teams to step up so we can go forward and if we lose the ball we can press.
