I have indeed, although I don't own one (just 6 strings). The neck was wider but, because the strings were "doubled up", it was manageable, even for an amateur like me. The neck on that electric, with 8 strings spaced equally, looks considerably wider.Never played a 12-string?

Makes sense. I only ever tried playing rhythm on the 12-string.True, but I assume he's an accomplished bass player, and used to the extra spacing.
Agreed that 12 strings aren't too difficult for rhythm, but I think playing it at its best is more difficult than an 8-string.

No don't touch John Williams masterpiece!!! Maybe something more from that genious "Force Theme" maybe..! COYStarwarsMuch to my disappointment, some people (who are wrong), do not like the current Duel of the Fates awesomeness.
So chose one and make it good!
