Obviously everyone here wants us to get one of the slots. If we try and be realistic, let's assume that Chelsea have one of the slots sown up already. That leaves two left. There is a faint possibility that Everton could creep their way back into the race but whilst I could see them managing to get 6th or maybe in 5th, for three teams to collapse in the way they'd need to for Everton to finish top four seems unlikely.
What that means is, with just five points separating them, the teams currently in 2nd to 6th could realistically finish in any combination. So if we take ourselves and Chelsea out of the equation, who do you want to get the other slots? Or given that picking out of Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd and Man City is picking the lesser evils, who would you most like to see miss out?
Obvious choice would be Arsenal, but then maybe you want them to keep Wenger and the only way for that to happen is for them to get their regular 4th place. Then if Liverpool came 6th with no trophies after a year without European football, Klopp would have some serious questions to answer and they may have the vultures swoop in for Coutinho. I do wonder how safe Mourinho and Guardiola would be if they also came 6th and didn't win anything given the money they've both spent - they'll both still have money to spend and perhaps Pogba proves they'll still be ok, but I'd think it would be harder to attract the players they want without Champions League football.
Arsenal and Liverpool for me.
