Feeling this one badly. Undone by two poor tackles and quality off of the opposition bench.
The tackles could've been avoided. The difference from the bench couldn't. And won't any time soon.
That said, I'm so proud of that team today.
The future's bright. The future is lilywhite.

There must be some kind of mental block with us that we cannot win these type of games it cannot purely be down to luck!

Certainly isn't down to luck as such a thing does not exist - Playing Son at LWB was a very bad decision - Toby made a poor decision for the free kick - Son totally fucked up for the second - Leaving Hazard totally unmarked, just fucking ridiculous and the fourth, that fucker won't score another like that again in his life - Three of those four goals were all down to our own bad, ill, poor decision making, or whatever you want to call it........ But not "bad luck"

Credit where it's due; the Chavs are fucking efficient. It was a penalty all day btw.

Not sure how we lost that game but it was another crunch encounter where Hugo forgot to put his gloves on.

Ref was shite. Again.

If we had started Walker and Davies and the team resembling what got us here in the first place we would have won that.

I'd of bet my left bollock on it.

I said to people I know before this game that we would not (be allowed to) win this game. I also said the scum will, by hook and crook, win against City. The reason I believe and said these things?!! The FACUP is sponsored by Emirates and the ****sea are a bigger global TV draw. There you have it, tptb want the biggest TV revenue they can get, because the cup is losing its global lustre and unfortunately that means those two shitbag clubs in the final!!!

I dont mind Poch starting Son where he did given his options, but I dont know why he chose Trippier. And when it came time to change, Id have gone to a back four with Walker on the right and Verts on the left and kept Son on.

The fact is that we lost, hurah for looking good and being the better team, but i don't think you get a cup for that, Chelsea have won things year after year looking absolute shit.

Their Champion's league win was akin to Wimbledon winning the cup,

Mentality, belief, something's lacking.

Not helped by our set up today, but that was as slow as we've moved the ball in a long while.

These money men need to start thinking with there heads over their wallets and get us out of the deal to play league games at Wembley. Unless we can have a say in the grass length and watering, as it was slow as shit.

Winners find a way, losers find excuses. and unfortunately we're scrabbling around for the latter today :(

Probably an unpopular opinion but I'd actually rather the ****s down the road won the fa cup than Chelsea. Fucking hate that club so much.

We played brilliantly; especially on the back of losing Ugo which must have been really upsetting and disconcerting for our players.

I think if you look at our last 3 games at Wembley against Chelsea, we've given them a closer game each time.

We need to get over the Wembley problem urgently. We seem to defend so much worse here than in any other game.

Really? Do you think we should?
Are you being sarcastic?

If not, I do think we should personally. Especially if we're going to continue to use the same pitch size in the new stadium

If that pitch is going to be similar size to current Wembley pitch then I guess we just have to evolve our game to suit the extra space

Popped in here after seeing the line-up and no idea what to make of it.

I see most on here are interpreting it as Verts playing his loathed LB role. Makes more sense than anything, but it still all seems nuts with Walker & Davies on the bench.

I'm going into TRUST IN POCH mode...
Fucksake Poch - you right screwed me over on this one.

Now go and sit in the corner and think about what you've done.

Then win the EPL title against all reasonable fucking odds. We'll be good then.

Worst performers were Atkinson (though IMO Son makes such an arse of himself for the pen that I have no problem with it being given) and the droves that left as soon as 4-2 went in.
