People can neg you but I dunno what else that is. Played them off the park and lost by 2 goals.

@optajoe 7 - Tottenham have now lost their last seven FA Cup semi-final matches, the longest such run in the competition's history. Choke.

Typical isn't it? Pissed off.

When it matters we don't get the rub of the green. We don't take advantage. The best team lost but I'm used to saying this.

Lets hope we keep our heads together. A slim chance of the title is still here and I WILL LOVE IT IF WE BEAT THEM LOVE IT

They brought them on because they decided to rest them before hand. That in itself is a bit of an insult to us to be honest.

To negate it, we needed to be in front before they brought their best players on.

If they'd beaten us without them, would have been a huge psychological blow. They needed them but it showed that even without a lot of key players they were comfortable

Whereas we only had one player out but fucked with the formation so it felt more alien than it needed to

Defensively it wasn't a stand out performance, agreed, but the game came after a very difficult week and we made them look very ordinary throughout long periods of the game.

Yeah but that's what makes the difference in games like this, and it seems to happen every time at the moment.

I'm most concerned about our inability to perform at Wembley going into next season. It could be a massive derailer to our progress if we can't replicate our WHL form.

Chin up lads. We came, we competed we gave our all. Effortwise cant fault the lads. Dont feel like we let outselves down today. We are growing and heading towards bigger things. First 10 mins i was worried that we were bottling it but credit to the players we didnt deserve that. Keep the team together we can win things. COYS

Or maybe we'll finally learn how to play really well there. ;)

mate --- take a breath. We outplayed them for huge portions of the game, didn't have the rub of the green and significantly had key injuries. Over the last 2 years we have been the best team in the league by 11 points. Just imagine this year if our and Chelseas injuries had been reversed. We'd be top no question. This team is growing and getting better.

Surely after losing 7 semi finals in a row we have to stop blaming "the rub of the green" at some point?

We fought really hard, controlled most of the game, undone by some awful defending. First goal Lloris, second stupid challenge by Son ( a forward's tackle ), 3rd started with Dier giving the ball away when we were dictating for a counter attack and then completely leaving their best player unmarked.

But we should have gone with the team shape that has been doing it for us in recent weeks. Since when has Son been a wing back ? Disastrous decision. I have been saying for weeks that we should not switch to 3 at the back until Rose comes back. Davies should have come on for Dier so we could do that. In fact that should have been our starting line up. We needed Son doing what he has been doing in the last couple of months, getting into the box not doubling up as a defender.

The players on the pitch gave everything and can't be criticized. But on this occasion I do criticize Pochettino for his selection.

he has to give this to Trippier....we need to reward good play and remember it is a squad game. The Son v Davies decision was tough but came down to two things:
1. Ben hasn't been playing particularly well (though he is improving)
2. Son has been on fire in the FA Cup and again, you need to reward that

People will disagree with Poch but these moves are smart over the long run

which is why I would have kept him on and pulled Trippier when Rose came on. We had no reliable attacking options on the bench.

Their bench wasn't the difference. We just seemed determined to gift them the win. We start with any semblance of control and Sonny doesn't dive in and we're in complete and utter control. Of their five shots three of them were absolute gifts. We dominated otherwise, we seem to have some kind of mental thing with Wembley and defensive lapses.

Dominated the play but didn't really worry Chelsea too much. We scored from 2 brilliant individual moments and conceded from 2 stupid moments. Both goals when the game was level were absolute gifts. Game is level, we have the momentum, but end up giving away stupid goals. Son going to ground in the box, and leaving Hazard by himself at the edge of the box. I said it when Hazard came on.. Poch better stick someone on him, Dembele or Wanyama should've been man marking him from the minute he came on, we didn't and it cost us the deciding goal. Matic was a one in a million goal that came when we were demoralized after fighting back a second time but again giving them back the lead.

Gutted.

Also, anybody who tells me I don't no have a right to be emotional about this right now can fuck right off.

If this doesn't hurt you then maybe you should question why you even bother watching in the first place.

Sick of the prawn sandwich brigade.

There's no such thing as a curse, will people stop it with that shit. We lost because we didn't do enough with the lots of possession and corners we had. And made mistakes that were partly down to the weird team we picked but largely down to experience. Purely self inflicted in both cases. No curse

Altho the referee was shit. And let Chelsea be Chelsea

So how would you defend their goals?

2 lucky strikes, one wrong penalty and a direct freekick.

Not to be rude, but that was insanely lucky for them to Get 4 goals.

You're talking about the result, but ultimately there is a cause and a root cause behind those goals apart from Matic. I don't wanna dwell on it though,

I don't think you can call it luck though, they are street wise so to speak, we are too fucking nice. They are winners, they know how to win,
