Some fool on Arsemania trying to make himself feel better by reinventing reality:

Look guys, there really wasn't much we could have done, Spurs have a higher squad and wage cost, we were on the back foot before the game had even started..

I would think/hope he's trying to be sarcastic.

Tbh i don't really mind Robbie , but it smacks of sour grapes when after 20 years of walking down Tottenham high road he highlights how dangerous and hostile it is the first year we finish above them.

On the issue he raised, i am against innocent opposition fans getting set upon as they walk to the ground, but if a firm arrives looking for trouble there will be a confrontation.

What Robbie said may put alot of our innocent fans at risk imo, suggesting we attack old ladies and kids is bollocks.

Most of the time its boisterous banter with alot of hot air and bravardo, when people really want a fight they don't stand on a corner outside the stadium with cctv and old bill all over the gaff.

People seem to be forgetting it was only two weeks ago that the arsenal tv lot were getting violently confronted by their OWN fans at one of their home games

Been a while since we've had the PFM/Hipster wars on this forum and what better thread than this to have an argument about chants

Surely that's someone taking the piss.

Sadly not, judging by the responses from his fellow arses.

For example, this guy quoted his post then really went for the piss taking:

"Look, uhh, the protests by the fans as well made the team lose confidence and play a little bit with the handbrake on, leading to the loss. These people are fair-weather fans ready to criticise the team even before the season has started; they are a disgrace and the real reason the club is being held back.

I think what is important is to keep a sense of perspective; we are 6th out of 92 clubs. Under Wenger, we have never dropped out of the top 4 (6), and have always had Champions League (European) football for 21 years. We are not as rich as the oil clubs and cannot afford to spend money on top players, even though we donate PL level careers & millions in wages to Make-A-Wish Foundation graduates and 200-year-old walking dead.

In the table, we are exactly where we should be based on what we spend. Leicester winning the title last year was a fluke, as are Tottenham's title challenges this year and last with a squad that costs far less than ours... OMG LOOK OIL CLUBS UNDERACHIEVING AFTER SPENDING OVER THE TOP LULZ! People whinging about spending money should look at the collapse of Portsmouth, Leeds, Leyton Orient or any other random irrelevant example to understand what could happen, instead of moaning.

We were a small Conference-level club without a history before Wenger took over and made us into global powerhouses. Be grateful that he dragged us like Baahubali into the modern era, coaching the players while simultaneously building a shiny new stadium brick by brick with his bare hands. ROFL at the people talking about a 'crisis' and taking everything so seriously; it's just a game!"

Agreed.

Don't like the aggressive behaviour towards him but that's what happens when morons get drunk.

I think Robbie what's the score is acceptable banter but the intimidating surrounding of him and calling him a fat **** is bang out of order as no need to be personal alL.
Robbie laughs his head off when Bully spouts anti-semitic shit on AFTV. He's fair game.

Bizarre would be to watch it when they win...which i don't.

When they lose its comedy gold .

I find it entertaining for about 3 or 4 minutes but then it's just the same old stuff, they say the same week in and week out.

I can see why you'd want to watch it though.

The way he talks, it's as if he doesn't really believe his own delusions. It's like a small part of him is still rational, but it's being overwhelmed by the delusions.

I bet he cried himself to sleep last night.
He's the only one I'm not comfortable with laughing at because I'm pretty sure he's got a condition, I'm not taking the piss, I think it's been covered on here before.
The others are just ripe for piss taking imo.

Claude is the one with issues. No animosity to either, they're just blokes who love their team. But they'll have to learn to suck it up cause they will have to get used to it.

Football banter is childish. Always has been and always will be.

I'm sure Ozil isn't crying himself to sleep after that insult. He's a multi millionaire, World Cup winner and is probably married to someone who most of those same fans would crawl over broken glass to shag.

He'll be ok.

If he did start crying we'd need to build another Ark!

As far as the song goes, I think it's brilliant, but then I don't get up in the morning looking for something to be angry about.

So this lot openly laugh at anti-semitism, sign a deal with a racist "news"paper, then have the gall to have a go at our fans for taking the piss out of them? Do one.

You make a fair point. As above, Claude definitely has some issues, but he comes across as a really decent guy deep down. Ty just seems deluded rather than ill.

Which newspaper have they signed a deal with?
