I am so happy right now to be a Spurs fan for the following reasons

1. We have the best Spurs manager in my lifetime.

2. We have the best Spurs team in my lifetime.

3. We have the best Spurs striker in my lifetime.

4. I am not Millsey.

Weird story, I interviewed for a job we were advertising the other day. Now the stand out candidate had the rather unfortunate surname of Mills. I just couldn't take the chance on him not being "Millsey" so opted for the 19 year old blonde that I could "mould" into our way of working.

And what was his name?

Based on today's ludicrously inflated prices, how much do we think he is worth now? Would he break the £100m mark??

There is no price. There isn't a number that makes sense. The alternative cost of replacement, that fact that he grew up in the club, there is no figure to express his value.

If he scores 40 goals in all competitions next season, hopefully he'll finally be recognised as being amongst the best strikers in the world.

We have a higher wage bill than both Everton and Palace so I don't see how you've come to the conclusion they spend more on wages than us
He's going on the tabloid news of Palace paying Benteke and Zaha £120k a week odd. What Palace have is a few players on wages far in excess of the rest of the dressing room, which is fine when things are going well, but as soon as results dip you get resentment growing.

Allardyce has already rubbished the amounts saying they were agent talk.
So much legend.

I heard him say that and thought, little chance. When we win the league I hope they let Ledley go up for the presentation with Harry!

Also, from what we have been told, our players contracts are heavily incentivised. So seeing we've had a good season, for all we know, Harry's bonuses could actually be averaging out at 120k pw +

I think he needs to do it in the Champions League and internationally to get this recognition tbf
I agree he needs to do it in the CL (and to reach 40, he'll have to) - but the claims he 'can't do perform in the CL' are an absolute myth, given that he missed half the CL matches and still scored 2 in the other 3.

Knowing the English media, he'll have to perform internationally as well, but it's worth pointing out that someone like Lewandowski has a shit record in international tournaments, albeit he's lethal in the qualifiers.

I'm not saying he should have. It was a very clever move since the ref hadn't blown for offside yet. But that's about the only good thing he did.

He controlled a long punt up really well and then he lost possession straight after. That's about all he did.

I knew I would get neg-repped for my post, because he's young and come through our academy but still don't understand why people think he's good enough for us. I have nothing against him, just don't see anything particularly special about him.

Yeah, I was pretty damn wrong on this one. Egg on my face and crow for dinner the next decade. :D

Never rated him, never will. I will probably upset a lot of people on here but he is not good enough to play at the highest level, fact

Amazing how much a footballer can improve from someone having an opinion like this about him. Oh and not calling you out FL, just demonstrating how much better someone can get.
