Zidane could easily be out of a job inside 18 months time and never manage again, such is the club he works for. But he'll probably manage France at some point.
Impossible to gauge if he's actually a good/great manager at this point. Could merely be as simple as he has the name power/respect to get his absurdly talented squad performing to par.
In terms of 'success' though, I suppose you can't argue with winning trophies
Not that he's necessarily absolute world class, but as an example, I'd place more importance and value on quality of managing with say .. Jaap Stam bringing Reading up to the PL than I would Zidane winning a La Liga and some CLs
