Doubling down I see, the other commentator calls him Owen and you're telling me it's not Owen Hargreaves because Hargreaves doesn't sound scouse? Not only is the other voice not scouse, but the only two commentating scousers BT has is Michael Owen and Steve McManaman and neither sounds remotely like 'Owen'.

Yeah totally, I got you man, your post just made me think about the whole thing of trying to appraise the likes of Zidane, Guardiola etc.

I def wasn't the only one on here that predicted Guardiola could struggle massively in a competitive league. He's got the biggest financially doped team as it is, but all he ever knew was a 2 horse race, where the other horse wasn't quite as good, and a one horse race.

Which channels are you lot watching? I'm watching BT Sport 2 on TV and I'm sure it's McManaman. It could well be Hargreaves commentating via the app or something.

I'm not sure you could call him absolute world class as a player but Ancelotti was pretty damn good and has won shitloads as a player and coach.

Tonight's was good, the build up was good and the finish sublime but it was still a bit "loopy". Zidanes was a pure thunderbastard into the top corner, on his wrong foot and the way he waited for it to drop out the air shows he knew exactly what he was doing.

Watching it on youtube, which is Hargreaves. No chance I'm paying for BT Sports so I had no idea they were running two different commentary teams.

Good game so far, and one absolutely stunning goal.

Definitely want Juve to win this.

As for Ronaldo, I can't stand him for various reasons, but the main one is that he's a spoilt, selfish little weasel that actually looks pissed off if one of his team mates scores instead of him. Plus he's a diving cheat. I suspect he's just bitter because as good as he obviously is, he'll never be better than Messi.
