As I say unlikely - the strength of feeling there is very strong. But its not terracing in the old form. Its a completely updated concept.
I think that they might just go with it

No mate you hope they may go for it because that is what you want. Don't under estimate the feelings about Hillsborough that is still present
Another thing that would have prevented it is, as today, limiting access to the stadium so only the correct number of people can enter. With real seats you still have a strict capacity (together with the correct physical infrastructure to prevent surges etc.)Rail seating would've prevented the disaster, so i'm not sure people are going to be vehemently against it. It's clearly safe, in fact its safer than standing in seating areas.
Are you sure? All the other rule changes only need 2/3rds in favour (so 14 if all clubs vote).I still wouldn't get too excited for safe standing - according to Premier League rules all 20 clubs have to vote in favour of introducing it if the government changes the law to allow it. It's still highly unlikely that Liverpool and Everton would vote for it given public opinion in the city.

Exactly this, standing is not dangerous, over filling the section is.
Link please (I did try but couldn't find it)The thread on SSC about our new stadium is very good if you fancy delving a bit deeper and seeing more progress pics etc.

It's under stadiums &sports arenas. Then go into under construction. See sandro has posted a link but just in case you lose it.
Nice little site with some very informed people (just go into the uk infrastructure threads and see what some of them come out with, i have no idea what they are on about but they go deep).
I hope people respect that site more than some do this one.
Internet. People act like twats everywhere. Probably a bit less in there (in the non football threads) as it attracts people who are genuinley interested in architechture. Still a few numpties though (pretty sure i'm one of them).
