Anyone know whether the replica kit on sale at £60 is identical fabric to the kit worn by players?

Arsenal have £55 and £100 versions of their kit on sale and Nike did something similar for England shirts.

What do you mean a step up?
In asthetic, range and marketing reach, scope and creativity.

I've already been served several Nike CTA's re Spurs since midnight. I never felt that Spurs were at the forefront of UA's mind despite being one of the biggest teams associated with them

So far I prefer the Under Armour training gear. We've had some great stuff from them over the years. I often preferred the training and leisure stuff to the actual kits under UA.

I wonder when we will see the third kit unveiled?

Nike only goes up to 3 Fat Bastards though which going off the other Nike stuff i own is going to be snug if you're used to your standard 3 Fat Bastard sizing.

IIRC UA and Puma offered sizes up to a two man tent so the food sales demand at The New Lane may not be as high as previously surveyed...

Oh my God the blue for that third kit is

No idea how it's sufficiently different from the away kit to justify its existence though...

Is it my imagination or are the club no longer selling our UA kits from last season?

And if I'm not imagining it, then WTF?!?

Slightly counter-intuitive fact about kit design: the more individual a given shirt design or template, the less authentically representative of the club/colours/crest it is.

Take our famous Hummel one with the arrows across the chest, or the UA one with the sash across the front. Those arrows and that slash didn't belong to Spurs; they belonged to the manufacturer. The elements we as Spurs had reason to call ours were the colours and the crest. Embellishments beyond that are not intrinsic to Spurs.

As such, a generic shirt that's the same as dozens of other teams, only distinguished by our colours and badge, is in fact more representative of Spurs than one embellished by the ideas of a given manufacturers' design department.

It's a very good point. Hummel are so fondly remembered I think because they seemed unique to Spurs in the UK. But internationally loads of clubs had those kits

Always loved those Danish kits tho

Thanks- couldn't find any of the old kits online. Oh and btw, which shirt do you sulpose I was fervently hoping to get?

(sigh)

If you use the search function and just type one word searches ('home' 'away' etc) then you can find a few older shirts. Unluckily for you though it looks like the shirt you're after has sold out completely... They still have the shorts and socks available though?;)
