I'm not sure these are legit. AIA would want/expect/demand a red logo, it seems like a really muddled design for Nike and I can't remember having Tottenham Hotspur under the cockerel

That's true about the red logo.
Maybe having clubs name on the shirt is to remind Wembley people who we are.

Would loooove it if AIA dropped the red mandate, but I think that unlikely so consequently believe these are likely ballocks.

Not a big fan of the massive cocks all over the fronts anyway. I do like light blue 3rd kits though. Look great against the grey English winter.

AIA would def let us drop the red if it meant getting their name in front of, not only Spurs fans and Tourists at Wembley but also in our brand new Stadium in front of most likely a lot of the US.

The current away, third and goalie kits don't have a red AIA so if in keeping with the style of the shirt, wouldn't expect a red AIA on a new home design

I like your thinking TM (as always) but there are a few things.
AIA do not operate in the United States, they are Pan Asia only.

Red is the key colour of prosperity to AIA's strongest markets.

AIA would have paid a lot of money for this deal and part of the agreement would be a contractual obligation to put the red logo on the home shirt. There is no other reason that Spurs would allow it.

Then why has it been there since we signed up? There will be a contractual obligation to have a red logo on the home shirt for the simple reasons that we sell more and wear it more often

The red logo is their brand.
It will be the first choice they will use when and where they can.

The reason its change to white on some of our kits will be because the red does not stand out enough on the shirt.

We do the same with our logo on shirts, go to a white logo on navy shirts

The more i think about it, the more it makes sense for a company with a red logo to sponsor a team that plays in contrasting colours on all strips.

Red on white, light blue, dark blue, yellow - it's a striking combination and it is always clear even from a fair distance away, so let them spend their money, let them have their red. The bit that matters is up on the left.
