What the fuck is happening.

In a fantasy world- Nike sponsor our shirts, they then sponsor our new ground because of the NFL. They want to maximise the exposure they they sponsor the re signing of bale to boost us and their brand and sell twice as many shirts. They choose tottenham because it's not already flooded with Oil and roubles and we fulfill a grand plan that Levy hatched a few years back and create a sustainable super club.

In reality - probably a bit of idle gossip and a possibility we might get Barkley.

But who the fuck knows really.

So, who is brave/stupid enough to start the transfer rumour thread for Bale?
Bro, we need a media link. :p

I wouldn't be surprised if the way "it is in Levy's hands" is that another PL club is seriously in for Bale, and that Spurs has a first right of refusal which may or may not be triggered. So Levy must decide on that clause.

Don't think Barkley being unsure due to new signings will be an issue now. Does not look anywhere near as impressive with Lukaku going.

I'm just gonna say it.

If Bale comes back, we win the league. Simple.
I don't know. Great player when healthy - obviously. But, it forces us into the 4231 - and that means we move Dier to the bench and/or we play Wanyama and Dier together. Neither option is very appealing. If Dier is headed to the bench - he will want out, and I could see him making a fuss to leave - because he fears it would cost him a spot on the England team next summer. If its Dier and Wanyama as CMs - well, we have seen that combo does not work very well.

what a load of blubber. absolute toffee.

the ball is in Levy's court with any player in the world; if he stumps up enough readies.

Saying X will come 'the ball is in our court' is true of any player. It doesn't mean anything at all.

Anyone even contemplating seeing our mate Gareth at Spurs next year, or at any point in the current decade, has clearly let the sun go to their head.

He started this season superbly, injuries got to him though.

He looks more one dimensional but that has been the case since he joined. Essentially he is playing second fiddle and is being asked to do a very different role at Real than he had at spurs. So I'm not sure you can say too much about that.

Just an observation, playing wise seems to have regressed and injury wise has been terrible last 2 seasons.

Be interesting to see how both would change under Poch.

But meh. like I said it's just nice Friday fantasy but no chance

There is next to no chance Gareth comes back. Wayyyyy too expensive and Levy will 1000% not pay anywhere close to what Bale would want in wages. That being said, we would win the league no problem if we still had Bale.
And whatever Bale would earn Kane and Dele would want the same.

@Breezer thanks for your update ...

Since last night its like ITK tennis , to the left of the court then back to the right then left then right ....... negative to positive to negative to positive etc ....

One thing we can take from last night and today, things are defo happening in terms of work whether people like it or not the club are trying to do things, its just not public anymore like the old days ... Since Poch arrived there has been a massive tightening on the leaks and tbh its a good thing, even the media have back off us in a way, they can only rehash rumours of the past. There was a post earlier cant remeber who, with a diff angle, as i mentioned earlier in the post there is a tightening of the transfer leakage, maybe and again i say maybe if you might want to look at it as some negative elements maybe to tighten further and expose a possible leak especially if it would cause panic/hissy fits etcc becuase its an easy way to know who maybe leaking stuff the club dont want out and again its probably in good vain as we want to do our business our way and without all the drama of the past. We all must admit the club must monitor these sites and find out the view of the fans .... Just as an example the recent official twitter mentions 'SpursITK' it caused a stir with responses, but on purpose by the club using the term ITK..... (although it meant something else, it served it purpose) ..... Anyway we seemed to have managed to hold on all the team from last year so far, thats important , most goals and best defence ... so lets keep an open mind and some positivity if possible ... (Law of attraction negativity attracts negativity ... positivity attracts positivity):):):):);)

.... Take a deep breath and say funtime fridays and smile

The math in that article is bizarre. The headline is £150m over six in salary AND bonuses. Even if you include the bonuses, that gets you to just £480,000/week. But they conclude that it is estimated to be nearly £600,000/week.

So what's the truth? Who cares, take the low or the high number, we're not paying either.

In most places it was reported as £350K a week after tax. But yeah, in any case, can't see us finding that down the back of Levy's sofa.

Sol Campbell and Sky Andrews told the world he would sign a new contract. ITK's on various forums at the time was conflicting with each other. Whilst Sky was in talks with the scum for weeks.

Robbie Keane is not too different. Then scoucers was his dream when he joined them. So I know certain things-yes. That is why I respect itk's and fi not knock them.

Do you see the same happening with Edwards- that would be a real shame for both parties imo?
