The fact that jj is refusing to be drawn into giving more info would automatically indicate that whoever it is, it would be a coup to get him. Ties in with breezer and is enough for me to be excited about it. Sounds like it's more than a pipe dream too and we're in with a genuine shout. Should be a fun day reading through every players bio in northern Italy.

Happy birthday walkerboy, me too.

I know we were looking closely at the euro u21s. I assumed that it was Meyer but that was poo pooed more than once by @JJetset but its probably likely the italian player was in that tournament

JJ asked us not to give anything away so we won't.

All I'll say is I hadn't heard much about him before but I like the look of him :)

Fair enough. Just answer this is it Piotr Zielinski? :)

Locatelli is a good shout, linked to Juventus and can't be happy Milan have brought in so many midfielders

Mandragora is a young player for Juve who is highly rated, left footed plays centre back and defensive mid, would be quite a coup

Don't think Levy would deal with Raiola, so can't see Moise Kean happenning.

Patrick Schick -Sampadoria
Berardi- Sassuolo RW
Locatelli - Rising CM in serie A but would be hard to get him from Milan
De Sciglio - Milan RB
Federico Chiesa - Florentia RW

Pjaca - Juventus wide forward (they have brought in Costa, and is abouth to bring in Bernardeschi)
Romagnoli - Milan CD, They have brought in Bonucci and Mustacchio (Wild shot, I know)
Jovetic - Inter forward, been on loan at Sevilla, perhaps to old (27)
Calabria - Milan right back, somewhat similar to Walker, youth product of Milan (but they have brought in Rodriguez and thus can move De Sciglio to the right permanently)
Ljajic - Torino Left Forward, 10 goals 9 assist last season
Zappacosta - Torino RB - Rather good right back (and used to play for Isola Liri (which has a beautiful waterfalls in the middle of the city))

They've also signed Conti, so imagine they'll be shifting a RB

Quite a few of the names on the last couple of pages were in that Italy squad. Only Juve player (out of interest) was the CB Rugani, who may have more opportunities since Bonucci left.

Most popular shout of Berardi was in there.

Most of the CMs and defenders mentioned are in there too.

Bernardeschi was the star man but appears Juve-bound, would fit the big coup criteria though due to seeming pretty impossible.

Nice list. Deffo Pjaca is a good shout.
I'll add, for the fun of it:

Gabriel Barbosa
Lucas Boyé
Davide Calabria
Bryan Cristante
Lorenzo Dickmann (for the last name alone)
Seko Fofana
Pol Lirola
Rolando Mandragora
Andrea Petagna
Andrea Pinamonti
Giovanni Simeone

Now we there should be literally no more names worth mentioning with even remote plausibility, so we can shut down the guessing game.

Read about him yesterday, sounds like he's been offered around pretty cheap. Thought he did well at Sevilla so unsure why they haven't bought him, but guess Nolito's stock is still high in Spain.

I think Skriniar signed for Inter. I did wonder about Barbosa as it hasn't worked out for him at Inter. Fans seem pretty pissed off about it like he wasn't given a fair chance
