Sure Carvalho to United would be a more feasable story. Ah, the wonderful world of the press.

Doing the rounds the Man United are making a last £60 million 'take it or leave it' offer

We'll leave it thanks

To be honest that would be a good thing. I genuinely think we'd tell them to leave it*, and hopefully that would be the end of that.

*I'd certainly want us to, firstly out of principle but secondly because we likely wouldn't do anything worthwhile with the funds.

We will 100% turn the bid down, it's a player Poch wants to keep

Seems a bit funny suggesting they will make a 'take it or leave it' offer considering he isn't even for sale. It sounds like something you would do if a team was looking to offload someone.

It sounds like something Levy would do, only the m would be missing from £60m

To be honest we should really string them along until deadline day then leave them in the lurch without a DM.

It would be nice if, for one summer, the press stopped trying to unsettle our entire squad. Why don't they ever try to unsettle any of Liverpool's players, given their chronic underachievement over the past 5 years?

Dier will be a Spurs player when the window shuts, of that I'm sure. He can play multiple positions well, rarely gets injured, by all accounts seems like a decent guy, and most importantly - he hates Chelsea. Future captain for us.

Liverpool are the second biggest club in the world la. Nobody's ever forced a move from them.

what makes you say that?
Gut feeling is that he wants to go. I think he has an inflated opinion of his ability, ever since he started playing for England. Much more money and fame playing for Utd. Unfortunately, they are a considerably bigger draw than us.

60m is a shitload of money. But he is a very important member of the team. I hope we turn it down, it really has to be an extraordinary amount for us to consider selling Dier. 60m plus Fosu-Mensa maybe...
