Via email lol

Philippe Coutinho has asked via email to leave Liverpool. #LFC stance remains the same - resolute he's not for sale.

To be fair to him, he's hasn't had a proper summer break for three years. He should be eased into the new season.

True, but didn't whinger say he had an abdominal injury? I'm not convinced he'll be at goon on Sept 1st

Miguel Delaney, huh. I believe he actually used to be quite serious. Don't really know exactly if he has kept a good reputation.

In light of how they got their pants pulled down over VvD, it'll be interesting to see how they react when the boots on the other foot...... Now, tell me again about that food chain you were so vehemently using to defend Liverpool's aggressive transfer policy towards smaller clubs...

I believe many South Americans see Barcelona as the pinnacle of football, this could get messy for Pool if they really stand firm. Coutinho isn't the most consistent of players anyway and not getting this move could really mess with him.

If they really are after Eriksen, then I'd expect the negotiations to start at $125m and move north from there

I dont think Eriksen would go to Pool tbh. He has said several times he has a plan. I think he is happy to stay at Spurs for at least one more season and then move to a top top club if the opportunity arises.

"If Liverpool refuse to sell Coutinho to Barca, they will turn their attentions to the cheaper alternative Christian Eriksen"

The best case scenario in all this is it goes late, all clubs think they have a deal so coutinho is made official to barca and saints reneg on VVD and sell him to city or something at the last second:LOL:
