I'm such a loser, I checked but it wasn't that hard to fInd @thinktank - both posts about Wanyama and the Nah was in response to whether he was better than Mason.

You have a real bias towards the exotic

What are they - birds??? I don't even know what you're on about, bruv. lol

And vic had a very average season before we bought him. Go do some 'sleuthing' over at SCBC's forum and read up on what many of them said about his perspective move to us at the time.

Paul O'Keefe on twitter has said there is definite interest, so I'm in the process of ordering the shirt.

Every time I hear the name Paul O'Keefe I just picture this sadly

What's Toby and Vic got to do with Mahrez, Mr Salty?

See above post. It's a pattern of behaviour that suggests you would prefer us to sign some random kid with 187'potential on football manager rather than a very solid premier league player

Sanchez is an odd one, it's a lot of money for an area that's not a clear weakness. I actually preferred the link to Benkovic, young and talented, but perhaps less costly due to less experience also, albeit still a great fit for us, tall, athletic, comfortable at LCB or RCB despite being right footed.
For the amount Sanchez will cost (and that's not his fault, he doesn't set the fee), surely he'd expect to be a regular starter, but if we play 4231 at times, he'll be behind Toby and Jan.
Suppose that's just the going rate in reality, considering Keane was £30m, Van Dijk is quoted at £60m, and we have apparently turned down €22m for Wimmer this week.

According to SSN we are interested in Sanchez but will only pursue a deal if one of our cb's leaves

Timing is there isn't it. The week Saints place a bid for Wimmer, and we start looking at Sanchez.

You said he was worse than Mason mate. Anyway; derailing the thread so I'll duck out now

I have no idea why you're so wet for Mahrez; acting like a giddy teenage girl.

He was gash for one whole entire season and started this season in the exactly the same vein.

Davinson Sánchez Mina is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Eredivisie club Ajax. Also considered the Chinese Ledley King. He is most known for being the latest football player that Danny Rose Google searched. Wikipedia

Height: 1.87 m
Current team: AFC Ajax (#5 / Defender)

Larry I really wanted Wanyama and was desperate for Alderweireld.

Do I want Mahrez, fuck no. Yes he's talented but I'm not convinced he'd suit a Poch team and the ethos he demands.

And that's before considering his form of the last year and what appears to be a poor attitude.

However if Poch wanted him, I'd obviously bow to his wisdom but on the face of it I wouldn't go near him.

Don't think he's for for us anymore. Wasn't impressed with him this season tbh.

That was what I said and at the time, having watched him that season, I wasn't impressed with where his game had gone. Called it like I saw it.

I'm thrilled I was wrong. He's come here and rediscovered his from under poch.

There are many on here who don't want Mahrez, go moan at them, ya chav.

Will be a good signing as for that sort of money he'll likely start with Dier returning to his favoured position in central midfield (rotating with and/or joining Wanyama, and covering defence as and when needed.
