Now the striker has admitted that he is not happy with his current situation at Spurs and would not rule out a move before the transfer window shuts.

"You’re never happy with this, everyone wants to play, but the situation is so," he told Dutch media outlet NOS. "If I’m staying? I do not want to say too much about it at the moment. I want to focus on the Netherlands, The other questions I leave for later."

That's interesting; there's definitely an undertone of uncertainty with his future in the statement

Not really fussed if he goes, I'd always play son up front ahead of him

Will be a shame if he moves on however if we get a good replacement that has real pace then it's probably the best move for all involved. The kid will want first team football in a world cup year.

A real shame, as I think he could turn into a beast given half a chance that he won't get because of Kane....... But, when you're chasing a goal and Sissoko gets called off the bench before you then you know its time to go.

He's not been that bad.

Joking aside, they are desperate for a target man with his attributes. Plus the scoring goals bit.

I'm sure they'd rather someone with pace. They already have the very slow rooney up there.

But he's not been playing up there Rooney. They are in need of a target man big time after losing Lukaku.

if he isn't cutting it in training then the writing is on the wall for him.

I really hope we're not letting him go.

Our squad is wafer thin as it is, so far this calendar year we've shipped out Carroll, Walker, Wimmer (in addition to Bentaleb, N'Jie and Fazio) and let Onomah and CCV go out on loan. In addition to that we're potentially selling Sissoko and Janssen, while Lamela may never return successfully.

So far we've brought in one third-choice goalkeeper and one CB. Even if you add Foyth and Aurier to that, that's still only two starters and one bench player brought in. Add Barkley and it still isn't enough.

We cannot afford to let Janssen go, and at the moment we can't really afford to let Sissoko go either.
