Oxlade-Chamberlain has turned down an improved £180k pw contract at Arsenal to join Liverpool on a £120k pw contract. IT goes to show that money really isn't everything to players, contrary to popular belief.
Let's be realistic, neither team is going to win the Premier League or Champions League any time soon, so he isn't even jumping ship to win more titles. That leaves only two motives:
1) Ox really believes he'll get to play CM regularly for Liverpool and made a purely footballing decision.
2) Arsenal is in even more of a mess behind the scenes than is being portrayed in the media.

No new keeper, no centre half yet, a decent cheap left back from hull, an average player like AOC. The signing of Salah is impressive,but I can't see why they haven't got more stick for this window. Their defence was and still is pathetic.
