His assists were good but I also thought he gave the ball away far too often and too easily, seems to have lost a bit f that fighting spirit he used to have

Jesus. People need to get some perspective here. He's playing poorly for him. A shit Dele Alli is probably still worth 100 mill. He's still getting assists and goals. He's pivotal in how we work as he team. He's 21. We're incredibly lucky to have him.

No, i think he probably was worth the risk reward on the night. However you make it out like there is no argument and he is the perfect player.

you are going to have to show me where I said he was the perfect player because I dont remember that. I agree he's got another level that we havent seen this season yet, but like the guy above says - even an out-of-form Alli is good enough.

Look, i think everyone agrees that he's a fantastic player with monstrous potential. But that doesnt mean that he cant have a bad game! I'd encourage anyone who thinks he wasnt very poor today to re-watch the game and see if they maintain their opinion. Once again, I love Dele and think he's world class, but it always bugs me when a player plays poorly and people convince themselves that he played well. A player of his caliber should hold himself to a higher standard and so should we

No qualms over people saying he had a poor match cause he did, just laughing at the lengths of unecessary detailed analysis of people who try to back him and at the same time put him down just to desperately prove their point and push their agendas, saying that he got 2 assists is equally retarded as saying that his assist for Kane's header was poor, seriously fuck off with this shit lol (n)

I am disappointed with some of our fans demands of Alli...it's got a bit ridiculous.

Not saying people can't criticise Alli but wow how blood ungrateful some people are beginning to sound.

This recent debate on Dele has escalated to a point where there's too much volatility between sides to actually argue cohesively. I don't think Dele is at his best. I think we are trying to compare his peak season form to early season form but his, and a lot of our players, early season form is erratic at best.

Dele is broadly trying to do what he does best and is asked to do though which is why I'm not too concerned. It's just not popping off right now in the way we expect (demand?). I disagree that his attitude is complacency as much as frustration. Teams are focusing extra hard on him and it will take him and the coaching staff time to work out the best ways for him to deal with it.

He's going through what Modric did before him. Teams know all about him now, so are denying him the space where he can hurt teams. I think this season we'll see him take it up a notch or two and become really special, but it will take a bit of time.

It's not even that, his first touch and decision making has become awful at times. That's more to do with him than the opposition.

It's a bit of poor form, no more, no less. He'll be fine in a few games time and everyone will forget he even went through this patch. As others have said, I'd rather have an out of form Dele who still scores and assists than a player who is trying 100% and giving it his all but isn't producing.

He's never going to be like Modric and that's the problem for a lot of fans. They see the wastefulness in position and forget about the stuff he does which seems simple, but it invariably wins football matches.

I do agree with the criticisms of his general play. At times it's plain sloppy, but what I don't agree with is the calls for him to be dropped from the team. We had the same thing last year and then he had a couple of good games and was then virtually unstoppable for months.

If we had other consistent performers waiting in the wings it might be different, but as much as I like Son he is very inconsistent and frustrating too.

I honestly don't see a lot of difference with Alli this season from last. Gets himself into good areas still and just like last year his touch let's him down a hell of a lot. Strange player in a way because even though he's so productive I find him a really frustrating player to watch.

Really need to cut the lad some slack. I don't ever recall him having an absolute blinding game from start to finish and he's far from the finished product. But what you get is a kid who can be the match winner ...and that is priceless.

He doesn't need to get 8 out if 10 performances as long as he continues making those runs and been the difference. I see a lot of Cristiano Ronaldo in him. Not always involved and doesn't seem to be putting it all in but when the moment comes he makes it count. For that he deserves a little more patience.

Lets face it if the money is ridiculous we should sell for example if Dier Alli and Rose went for £220 million we could replace them pretty well I think. Look at teams like Monaco and Dortmund as our Model and the young players they attract season after season,

I am a realist for some players Spurs are a stepping stone to that's ok does not mean we will not continue on our progression.
