Roles certainly is - has played for Cyprus youth sides in the past. A number of others also have Greek/ Cypriot ancestry including Tsaroulla, Georgiou and the Shashouas. There are definitely more but can't think off the top of my head.

The Shashouas? Are you sure? They're Jewish are they not?

Edwards is indeed half Cypriot on his mother's side.

I believe Shashoua originally was an Iraqi Jewish surname.

Obviously not able to watch anywhere, but going of the text on the UEFA site, it seems like we've been all over them in the second half. They scored from a free kick in the first.

Finished 1-0. Terrible result which shows our youths have a long way to go but no doubt will be a good experience for them.

Very surprising a team with that level of attacking talent could not get a goal. Queue 1,000 people posting foreshadow of tonight quips but it sounds like they followed the same narrative Apoel will tonight: Defend forever and hope for a moment of magic or mistake.

Probably a mix of over confidence, bad pitch(assumption) and just general inconsistency that young players suffer from

All things you would expect from an u19 team though so nothing to worry about particularly imo

Except everyone wants players like Edwards to start for the first team. Performs poorly against a Cypriot U19 team, yet there's claims he'd help us unlock Premier League bus parkers.
