I know who is NOT my man of the match, Dele.

A win but the second half performance has flatten it for me. Play like this against better teams and we will be trounced. Despite scoring 4 and keeping a clean sheet, wasn't convincing to me.

I would have kept on Eriksen to play with Son instead of Dele

Credit to Davies but I will give Kane MOTM again

[EDIT] Based on all you responses to me its obvious that my post above must have been misinterpreted. If we played like we did the 2nd half we would be trounced not the total match. If the match had finished at half time most payers would have deserved a 10

Yugo - No heart-in-mouth moments and little else to do.

Tobes - No big troubles but still hasn't reached pre-injury heights.
The Real SanchezTM - Could've given away a penalty but this kid is the real deal.
Super Jan - Love his proactive runs forward in these kind of games.

Trips - Works so well against these kinds of teams.
Eric the non-Viking - Positionally excellent, growing back into the CM role.
40 Winks - Two terrible passes but a good run-out.
Benny Hill - The best LB in the league right now.

Deli Counter - One of his worst games ever for us. Seriously.
The Great Dane - Good first, awful second before the sub. Weird game.
Hurricane - Übermensch.

Sock - A goal! Still think he only works as a starter. Always plays better from the start than as a sub.
The new Wipey - N/A but good to see him get 10 minutes.
Sunny - N/A

Idiotic post, you should be embarrassed. Clearly a case of just not taking risks, ensuring the clean sheet, controlling the match and being patient for opportunities as the game was won.

Whats to be embarrassed about? Thats how I feel. Probably I was looking or expecting much more in the 2nd half

I don't think Dele was that terrible.

Showed some very good technique with a few clever passes and unlucky with a shot off the post.
Poor in 2nd along with the rest.

Super Embarrassing dive though

Happy for sissoko and the fans gave him some love too. Stretched them twice with his pace and probably should've scored 2

Davies 100 percent Welsh silk

Fair observation - but context matters...Game was over 15 minutes into the match. Players reacted to the situation, rather than a let down in an important moment.

So you thought we played well in the second half?
You’ve got to pick your battles. The game was won and unlike West Ham we kept the opposition out of any comeback. Sure, we could have gone all out for more but it’s a long season and we’ve had a busy week.

I thoroughly enjoyed that, a very balanced performance, ruthless where necessary, solid where necessary, some lovely football at times and all very measured. Huddersfield have shown this season that they are no mugs, and they started brightly, but we kept our heads, took our moments and dismantled them.

Lloris was good, made the saves you'd expect, was good off his line, no stupid distribution.

Alderweireld, as others have mentioned, made the odd mistake and lacked his old concentration at times but was generally solid and read things well.

Sanchez under hit the odd clearance, was a touch rash occasionally (could have conceded a penalty on another day) but on the whole used his pace and strength well. Very composed against a quite brutish forward too in Delpoitre.

Vertonghen was the best of the three, not sure he made a mistake, he brought the ball out beautifully and was imperious at the back.

Trippier played his best game this season, looked quicker, passed well, crossed well, linked up with both defence and attack well.

Dier looked good today, dropped back as ever with good effect but didn't do it by default and stayed higher up the pitch, meant we transitioned far better and he even hit the odd clever pass forward.

Winks was very good, so quick to use the ball and not afraid to get it wrong. A couple of silly moments but no more than anyone else and we definitely benefitted from his quicker thinking. Needs to use this as a catalyst to become first choice.

Davies was exceptional, great passing, imaginative, knew when to attack and did it well. A year ago he's never in that position to score. My MOTM.

Dele had a better first half, far more nimble and intelligent on the ball than he has been, used the space gifted to him well. Second half he was not great on the ball, but off the ball he worked himself hard, helped the defence constantly and on a number of occasions took pressure off the defence. It was exactly this which started the move for Sissoko's goal. Harshly booked, he got up straight away and never claimed the penalty.

Eriksen was as ever involved in most of our play, some great passes and knitted our attack together. Good understanding with Winks too.

Kane was Kane. Worked hard at the front, good pressing, occasionally selfish, odd sublime pass and two superb goals.

Sissoko wouldn't have been my choice to come on but he ran with the ball well, took up good positions, showed some skill and finally scored (though he did his best not to).

Walker-Peters was pretty involved, put in a good tackle, used some pace and I don't remember a cross from his side.

Son wasn't involved much but did well in the build up to our fourth.

Welll done Spurs, good day at the office, slightly helped by some naivety from Huddersfield but not flattered by the score. Well done Pochettino for the right selection and getting the game won early.

Fair points, But as I said or implied I think we switched off too early, which could have hurt us had we been playing a better team. They say winning is a habit, so is how we perform as well.

I think you've over-analysed the game.

Saying we'd be trounced playing like that, that's what. No problem with expecting even more, I did too after that first half, but it's lunacy to think anybody would 'trounce' us playing like that.

I thought Dier was excellent today provided the platform for the attackers to wield their magic.
