Absolutely sick and tired of everyone going on about Kane leaving. I've never heard a player say he wants to stay at Spurs as much as him and even on here people can't stop going on about it. I don't think he will leave, maybe ever but who know what's going to happen in 3-4 seasons, stop worrying about it. It's almost as if we don't deserve him.

Everyone sells players, United even lost Ronaldo, Barca Neymar. The media make me sick, jealous fu%ke&s.

It's just wishful thinking from rival fans, nothing more.

Just happened to be reading in this one, saw the chat and finally decided to post it somewhere where it won't cause the usual attention. Didn't feel comfortable doing it during the window being open in the ITK forum
just a little curious to why you wouldnt use the harry kane thread and I wanted to participate in this threads tendency to question the merit of a posts' relevance to the thread. Yeah I lead a thrilling life :meh::meh:

They talk about Kane leaving because it's the only shred of hope they have. There's nothing, literally nothing, in the way he plays or the way he behaves on or off the pitch that can be criticised. He combines the virtues of the most fantastic footballer with those of the most decent, sensible, non-controversial person most of them have ever encountered in their dreary, misbegotten lives.

What else have they got? He talks a bit funny, but so do they with their whippets up their arses and their flat caps pulled down over their noses. All they have left after admitting that he's the best young striker on the planet is vainly hoping that he's going to leave.

They mostly come from the north or some similarly godforsaken lavatory for disgarded dreams. Find it in your heart to forgive them, the straw-clutching invertebrate turd-munchers.

Sake...

Let me get this thread back on track, selected quotes from some Huddersfield forum

http://downatthemac.proboards.com/thread/107301/spurs-match-thread?

Town playing ok. The usual lack of a decent cross in the final third. The performance is better that the West Ham game.

But what Tottenham are doing, which is a class above, is their passing and movement in the centre.
Simple. Once touch passing. Players getting a yard of space. Forcing Kachunga, VLP to track back.

We are just playing a much better team.

Great lesson. Always interesting to see what might have been if that penalty had (should) have been given.

Pundits will make nowt of this seeing as we're cannon fodder, but nice to see we still look ok even after 4-0.

Game mgmt 2nd half by Spurs was exemplar, shame they pinched a deflected 4th.

Kane must be one of the most valuable players on the planet just now...

Holy hell, now that was the quality of football that we were promoted to see. That movement and vision was like nothing we've ever seen at the mcalpine before. To say that we actually played quite well today, yet were totally taken apart, with ease, says everything.

Taken on their points tally over the last two seasons, Tottenham are, in terms of consistency, the best team in the land. So, no shame in losing to that lot.

Even so, too many off-days from our players - leaving me a little dischuffed.

Been sitting on a piece of info for a couple of months but maybe it will appease a few. Won't be taking questions on any of it, this is everything I know....

Close friend of mine has a business associate that played a round of golf with Kane just before the season started. Here's what he passed on ...

Kane is the most down to earth and polite footballer he's ever met.
Has basically never had a drop of drink
Has 2 full time dieticians to make sure he's staying in utmost top shape and receives massages every day.
Said he will never leave Spurs as long as they keep matching his ambitions ( I guess this is a grey area but I'd take it as as long as the new stadium helps keep wages closer and we begin to pick up a cup here and there and challenge for honours we will be absolutely fine in the short/mid term )

If the above didn't happen then he'd consider the two big Spanish clubs. Hates what Man City stand for and would never join them. Hates Chelsea and Arsenal for obvious reasons but also seems to have a disliking of Liverpool. The only PL club he would ever ever consider joining was Man Utd but for whatever reason clearly stated that it would never be under Mourinho as he simply doesn't want to play for him.

That's all I know. Up to us to keep progressing and we'd never lose him. Whether that's possible given what were up against in terms of other teams finances etc is a different question.
Thank You

This perfect pro reeled off all the teams he hates to a random over a round of golf? Sounds plausible

Utd or Spain if we don't match ambitions is exactly what you'd expect though

I play croquet with Harry Kane's ferret. There are things I know but cannot say. All I can repeat from Monty ( the aforementioned ferret's name) is that Kane will score goals.

Huddersfield 0-1 Spurs

Harry Kane is the best player in the league. Absolute phenomenon. When’s a big club going to sign him? Can’t deal with Spurs having this guy for much longer.

Huddersfield have been the much better team. Kane was gifted a chance by a terrible left back. You would back every striker in the league finishing the chance he had. (
apart from your Walcott, Welbeck, Giroud.....)

Kane needs to tweak a hammy now....

Huddersfield 0-2 Spurs

In fact the whole Sp*ds team needs to tweak a hammy

Huddersfield with suicidal defending. Look at the amount of space between the center backs. Any team would get double digits here. Never seen anything like it

It's just a good thing that City, United & Chelsea have their respective houses in order. Otherwise we'd have to watch this dispicable lot actually lift the title.

Huddersfield keeper trying to gift a third. This game will end in a thrashing and Spurs have literally done nothing to score their goals. :poop:

Huddersfield 0-3 Spurs

ffs Kane is too good..

"Huddersfield have been the much better team. Kane was gifted a chance by a terrible left back. You would back every striker in the league finishing the chance he had."

What about that one?

Good goal, but he still isn't the best player in the league. Kane is a very good goal scorer, but that's all he is to me. He's like a Shearer or Lineker. A very good finisher in and around the box who will constantly put up high numbers. But I'm not going to cream over him like he is Henry. His ability is exaggerated beyond belief.

This is stomach churning ...........feeling to puke

Harry Kane can strike the **** out of a ball

If Tottenham didnt have to play half their league games at Wembley, I'd quietly fancy them to have a 50/50 chance of winning the league with 5 games to go.

I'm already looking forward to our match with Huddersfield.

I doubt we'll be able to dismantle Huddersfield as easily or leave Goodison Park with 3 points.

People can say Huddersfield are this and this, the goals were a gift or whatever, but the score is 0-3 and Kane is continuing his rampage with two more goals and most probably another hattrick. Nobody bothered analysing as much when we were doing the same with our talisman scoring for fun.

Alli diving, what's new.. What a ***

Take that Alli you snide diving c**t

Spurs is a disgusting club. People on here pretending they are in some awesome form while at the same time crying about our form but we win tomorrow and we are only point behind them.

This is their supposed golden generation, yet they have nothing to show for it, not even a league cup..

Thanks for passing on.

Levy will know that we will need to keep progressing in order to keep him and as Harry is the focal point of the entire club then Levy will do his utmost to make sure Kane is satisfied.

God I hope Arsenal drop points tomorrow. I can't stand them being only a point behind us considering how shit they are. They are going to be in absolute turmoil when they lose Sanchez and Frog-Boy on a free in the summer.

He shared in good faith. Any doubts you have could be kept to yourself on this occasion lmo.

You're entitled to your opinion. Thanks for letting me have mine

Good faith is not an excuse for not interrogating flimsy info. If a friend told me that, I wouldn't even pass it on so suspect does it sound. Unless someone is proven ITK, a privilege that is earned, i don't see anything wrong with analyzing and questioning info as presented.

Just because a rumour is positive doesn't make it true.

Leicesters hate for us as strong as ever.

Urrgh 0-2 and will probably end 0-5

Hate Spurs, and it grinds my gears to say it, they are such a decent outfit

Fantastic goal. World class player grrrrrrrrrrr

No doubts about it, Kane is fantastic, best English striker since Shearer.

Would love to see him go to Real Madrid or Barca...as an English fan, I want to see him play at the highest level possible.

For me Spurs are just getting better and better, sadly we are nowhere their level now, I'm dreading us playing Spurs as I think it'd be a cricket score. To think some people thought Kane was crap, he's world class be in no doubt.

Were they ever near our level? Outside of their league winning season which I still believe was suspicious.

Spurs doing well is annoying as F*** . The only consolation is that they won't win anything as per usual

Can't argue with that. If Spurs didn't have so many entitled bell end fans I'd defo have them as a second team.

They've formed this opinion after reading the fighting cock forum

Can't stand the cnuts, hate to see them doing well...

Then, finally some sense

Some people still think Vardy just play ahead of him for England
laugh.png

Then back to the norm with this gem

Spurs are the new Arsenal. Finishing in the top 4 is their trophy

Spurs chance was 15/16. They missed their chance of winning the title. Very good team but can't see them winning the league anytime soon. The Manc clubs + Chelsea will dominate the next 3-4 years.

Luckily for us their move to Wembley for their home games will cost them challenging for the title.

I'd hate to see them win the league

And finally, this posted by someone called The Guvnor who has more than a basic knowledge of football.
To be honest I would rather Spurs win the league than any of the real big boys , they have a sensible wage structure and some bloody good players who haven't cost a fortune. I'm sure most animosity comes from the idiots on the Fighting Cock forum , not all Spurs fans are like that.

Bookmarked for when we win the league and they say "They only won it 'cos City, United and Chelsea didn't have their house in order." :)

This is their supposed golden generation, yet they have nothing to show for it, not even a league cup.

Ah, the old "They haven't won anything yet, therefore..." argument. The one that worked so spectacularly when Ferguson had been at United for nearly five years and still not won anything. Let's ignore the fact that this is the youngest team in the BPL. Let's ignore the fact that Poch has had less time in charge that Ferguson did before he'd won anything. Let's pretend that finishing third and second in the BPL was actually a pretty big fecking thing when they were doing it and only became unimportant and unimpressive when they failed to do it. Let's pretend... :)

Ah playing the old 'Fergie didn't win anything for five years' card, I see. Textbook ;)

It wasn't a conspiracy, but it was definitely a very unlikely confluence of events, the like of which will probably never happen again. Relegation candidates every single year except the one they won the title.
